Ever feel bored of going through the same DLC map with nothing new added on? Well now don't be bored! Introducing my DLC Overhaul Mod Maps, a custom, advanced, version of the DLC maps! Introduces more shortcuts, routes, and a brand new upgrade system! Do know that their are many bugs in this mod, but I hope I can fix them once I find out how OPENCAGE works on a more advanced level. This mod took many hours to create, so do know that the interval between updates might be long. I am open to feedback and other features that I could add to this mod. It's important to note that I might say no to requests as I'm still learning OPENCAGE and it's functions!

This mod changes the maps by introducing more gating doors for SAT and Torch requirements. This makes the level more interesting, and adds a whole new amount of complexity to the game. I always thought that it was strange that the devs give certain characters gas torch's and SAT's. Yet, they never exploited the potential that gating tools have on the game. This mod fixes that by adding more gating doors to create more routes, shortcuts, and fun! It also destroys possibilities of speedrunning so take all the time you need lol! This mod also introduces an upgrade system throughout each level. This system applies to gating tools, that will give a gas torch to characters with no torch equipped and give a plasma torch to characters with a torch.  Ion torch’s will be hidden across the levels. For example, if I pick up the hidden shotgun in Severance, I get the ion torch for a reward that is temporary for that level only. Certain torch’s will open certain shortcuts. In severance, there are three shortcuts using the torch all being different levels. The cutting door next to the records is dangerous and you will be cornered where the alien is searching making it lv1 torch required. The SAT door will be lv3 torch required since it’s an easy route. The “power off” theatre door will be lv2 torch required. Instead of the theatre door remaining off to be inaccessible, you can cut open the door and open it if you have a lv2 torch, while the theater is shut down. (Consider it forced entry lol) Otherwise, you can go and turn on the generator to force the door open.


Beware of Bugs~! (This mod is in BETA currently)

Custom doors have the middle panel floating with collision: just go around it, I don't know the solution to fix this yet.

Grey, Blocky, Sparks appear when using cutting torch: there's not much I can do about this, this issue appears in some levels.

Levels may crash if you don’t delete the folder in production, dlc, first. Once it’s deleted, put in the modded folder.
