hiya just wondering where this next step is? does open cage need to be somewhere special? and InfiniteAmmo1a need to be somewhere else? coz im well confused when im tryig to follow instructions and it just dosent work? i also want to say that this mod obvs works and obvs is brilliant and i have patiance, i will never slag u off at all or get pissed off lol just asking for a wee bit of help
No, you're right. At first I thought you'd done something wrong and I loaded OpenCAGE myself to check. First thing that happened is that OpenCAGE updated itself. Second thing that happened is that there's NO mod section on the latest version, so my mod can't currently be loaded. The documentation links for OpenCAGE are pretty much useless and the wiki link is dated to 2019. I'll try re-doing this mod in the latest OpenCAGE and see it that works. If not, I'll try contacting OpenCAGES author for advice. I'll leave this mod open for a day or so to give you time to read this, then I'll have to remove it if I can't get it to work.
Just pushed out an update to OpenCAGE to re-implement the mod loading functionality, if you relaunch the tools you should get the update come through.
To load the mod: - Click the backup icon in the bottom right of the tool (next to the settings cog) - Click "Load Mod" - Select the mod and click "Install Mod"
Put the Infinite Ammo mod FOLDER in the Mods folder, not more in the Data folder. And then goto "the backup icon in the bottom right of the tool (next to the settings cog) icon", like MattFiler said, and active or install the mod. Works like a charm for me yesterday, after installed the game again. Hope this help and sorry for the poor english.
No. Go ahead and edit the bml files yourself, then cry because it doesn't work. Only the flame thrower does, all other weapons remain the same. This mod works with all weapons, so it's fine.
I copied the infinite ammo files to the data folder and the open cage is in the main directory. i dont see the mod after i follow your steps, its empty, what did i do wrong?
