About this mod
Allows you to progress through the firearm scanner without disarming at the start of Misssion 13 (APOLLO Core, a.k.a. M13 - Consultation). You can advance through the mission without losing your Revolver, Flamethrower, and (if acquired) Shotgun.

Do not place your weapons on the conveyor belt, just walk through either the left or the right weapon detector to unlock the door ahead of you without having to place your weapons on the security conveyor belt. Passing between the detectors (over the part with the yellow markings and a weapons warning on the floor) will trigger a warning and Ripley's comment, but will not unlock the checkpoint. Should you happen to do this, just go back (through a detector, if you want). Aside from ignoring the weapon drop-off point, the rule is that passing through either of the two weapon detectors unlocks the checkpoint and the door ahead of you.
Whereas you do get to rebuild your arsenal quickly and soon after, IMHO this is a better option if nothing for one's peace of mind and quality of gameplay.
Should you wish to play a "classic" playthrough at any time in the future without uninstalling the mod, the weapons drop-off point on the conveyor remains active and usable. Placing your weapons on the conveyor as you would normally have to will remove the firearms from your inventory as it did before. Again, the differrence in thatwith this mod, it is not required to progress further through the game.
Note that ignoring the weapons drop-off does not trigger an alarm - the checkpoint lights up with green lights and lets you through.
This mod has been developed and verified on Alien - Isolation G.O.G., version 1.0.4, therefore it is not guaranteed to work properly on Steam or any other platform.
The Readme.txt file contains detailed and simple instructions on how to mod your game yourself in that case. It is a simple mod, it comes down to altering two entity links using MattFiler's Cathode Script Editor, and again, the Readme.txt contains detailed and as simple instructions designed for novice-level modders.
Readme.txt also contains installation instructions.
Enjoy!
