Changelogs
Version 1.0
initial release
This ReShade preset excludes important UI elements from being affected by ReShade effects that utilize depth (such as depth of field and ambient occlusion).
INSTALLATION:
Extract the mod folder and replace all of these files in these locations: UIDetect.fxh: ...\STEAM\steamapps\common\Alien Isolation\reshade-shaders\Shaders\brussell
In the ReShade menu in-game, follow this order of effects: 1. UIDetect (must be the very first effect) 2. UIDetect_Before 3. *other effects you want to exclude from the UI* 4. UIDetect_After
DONE!
NOTE:
You may create your own version of the UIDetectMaskRGB.png to include other HUD elements you want to retain. Simply follow the directions included in the UIDetect.fxh file.
This preset requires the modded UI.PAK because it has the opaque health icon, which is needed by UIDetect.
