Mod is working, especially with Railgun combined mods for X-02 course correction and more damage, this mod add the air burst function, it is very effective now for group ground targets.
This mod does not work. Version is incorrect format. No other mods are applied to the plane. Even after correcting all errors through Vortex app, it does nothing. Have tried several different fixes and nothing changes. Author needs to update to latest version and correct the onboard issues that are flagged through Vortex mods.
Furthermore, even when set to the appropriate folder, Vortex shows that it isn't deployable. Vortex is up to date and game is deployed through vortex.
@LooseCannon07 as mentioned in the link posted by sincerity2013, unfortunately Mod Managers - Vortex included - do not play well with how Ace Combat 7 works with mods. Therefore, it is recommended to manually install mods in the ~mods directory, or wait until a Mod Manager dedicated to Ace Combat 7 is made.
I apologize for the confusion regarding this mod and all my mods that makes them look like they work using Vortex. I will remove any prompts that do so for my current mods and future ones.
Unfortunately, this file path installation didn't work... I have manually installed the files into the ~mods folder and nothing changed. Any other advice to install this package? I have deleted all of the previous files. Do I need to place the zip file into the ~mods folder or just the files?
I'll try to go a little bit into detail and thorough, just in case.
First, locate the ACE COMBAT 7 game directory. If you use Steam, it's usually in <Steam Installation Directory>/steamapps/common/ACE COMBAT 7.
Next, go to the game's Paks directory, which is in Ace Combat 7/Game/Content/Paks
Create a ~mods folder in the Paks directory if there isn't one already
Extract the files you wish to install from inside this mod's .zip file into the ~mods directory. (The files in the .zip, not the .zip itself).
If you rename the mod file names, there are some important points to keep in mind:
The file format must still be .pak
The file name must end with "_P"
The weapon files must have higher priority (more "~" at the beginning of file name) than the Base file.
After that, the mod should be installed already. Launch the game.
If the mod still doesn't load, try checking if there are any other mod files installed - mainly gameplay mods (weapon swap, performance change) that apply to X-02S
I was messing around with the eml railgun and it is so fun with a pretty big AOE and makes it much more useful in campaign. 9/10- the cruse missile is kind of buggy
Unfortunately, I don't have plans for F-22 superweapon for now. At the moment, I only have ideas for ADFX-01 and ADF-01, but only ideas (have not put any work into it).

Please fix this mess of a mod.
