Do you think repairing your truck and a hammer with the same item is a little silly? If you said yes, then this mod is for you. Overhauls, all item and vehicle repairs with specific repair kits. For example pistols repair with handgun parts and a repair kit. Both increasing immersion and difficulty.

Overview
Completely overhauls item and vehicle repairs so that items require their parts and repair kits in order to be repaired. For example: to repair a pistol you will need handgun parts and a repair kit, then you simply make the Handgun Repair kit and repair the pistol as normal. This mechanic will be the same for any item that scraps to special parts and also for vehicles.

Goes well with my Parts Craftable mod to make the repair kits easier mid-late game.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Due to change three below, the bicycle will need to be repaired with a vehicle repair kit. For a bicycle this is completely unreasonable from a repairing perspective. However: there is nothing I can do about this. In fact it is also part of a design decision for the mod to make vehicles with motors more realistic, rather than the bicycle having a more realistic repair. Reasoning is the bicycle is often not used much past early game anyway. 

This mod makes three OTHER major changes you should be aware of. 
1) Bot turrets will require Batteries! Yes, to be crafted AND repaired! I felt Junk Turrets were a little magical, while any other turret requires power, they did not. This fixes that little immersion problem for me.
2) The vanilla repair kit recipes will be reverted back to previous alphas and is slightly more expensive than before. In A19 it is just cloth and forged iron. This mod will add Duct tape and oil to the vanilla recipe.
3) Technical Note for Modders: Due to limitation in XML modding for 7d2d, I cannot change the used repair kit for vehicles. I was able to accomplish this by OVERWRITING the vanilla repair kit recipe and localization and creating a new "Normal" repair kit. I have put in the necessary code in Loot.xml and Items.xml to account for this change. However, if something was missed please let me know. 
Compatability
This mod is created in a way that makes it compatible with any vehicle mods out the box and any weapon mods that EXTEND vanilla firearms. If you have a mod that needs a patch, I will not promise anything but I don't discourage you from asking either :) 

Personal Remarks
After a playthrough, I find this mod to be incredible. Which is why I'm sharing it. It changed my playthrough completely, from weapons used, to ammunition types used. No more carrying a stack of repair kits and just "going through the motions" repairing an item. You will need to strategize, use certain weapons due to part limitations. Manage your inventory a little better to handle not being able to hold 5 different repair kits. Sometimes you will mine and forget to bring the motor tools repair kit, that sucks, back to the base! It also just makes sense. We repair a claw hammer with the exact same stuff as a gyrocopter and then use it to repair our auto shotgun too. Really? Doesn't that seem a bit bogus to you. It does to me so I changed it and shared it with you. Enjoy!
