I've uploaded a new version which has the new ModInfo.xml that they started with Alpha 21. If you already have an older version of the mod, though, it should still be working, just with a legacy warning in the console.
I completely echo what Netwit2008 said - I've found some in loot but not too many. It's pretty great. Thank you for making this mod. Enthusiastically endorsed.
Cool mod! I think the candies are broken af and should be removed period. But might as well be able to find them as well as buying, at least until they take them back out of the game. Good job!
I pretty much don't even use the candy bars, except for eating the Health Bar every once in a while if I have a critical injury so it heals faster. I imagine it as a chocolate espresso bar, so that it makes the character feel better and they don't notice the injury as much. Other than that, I just build up a stash of them to look at sometimes. I'll do treasure map loot runs, get back to my base, and see that I have a stack of the Eye Kandy that's supposed to help with better loot results, and just shrug.
If you look through the config files, it looks like the candy bars actually were supposed to have a low chance of spawning where food is, but it was commented out, and honestly, I feel like they would only have not been picked up in locations where people aren't specifically looking for them, so the junk loot it was.
