Been trying the whole day to make this work. But how are we supposed to be able to use L1 + CIRCLE/B knowing that CIRCLE/B is already binded to Jump in your input.settings ? It's driving me nuts. Is XPadder supposed to unbind the inputs itself (and doesn't do it on my computer) or is your input.settings not up to date ?
Same goes for A_CROSS, not supposed to sprint, but still does. Since it's bind that way in the input.settings.
Im sorry but I really CAN'T understand HOW your input.settings file can work. Do I have to do something in order to make XPadder overwrite the bindings ?
If it help someone: in profile for input mapper is option Emulate virtual controller. After I unchecked that option my controller start to work perfect with this config. Before it I can't do many things. Probably its because i have installed https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1657 If you have problem with this config and you are using that mod(or similar) try to unchecked controller emulation. I hope it will be useful tip for someone :)
Hi, i'm trying to use this mod with the input mapper on win10 and a DS3 controller, but the bumpers, triggers and even the select button is not working... It's look like as if the keys are not bind to anything. I followed the installation step by step. any tips?
Hey anyone having the problem with exclusive mode on inputmapper with windows 10? i tried now several gamepad mods to have instant sign cast work for me but with the new windows update inputmapper isnt working anymore... so i tried this mod with xpadder but cant get it working with the DS4 controller... so i tried with an old xbox 360 controller but doesnt really respond well like you press strong attack once and after a second it activates twice... and why on earth did you use the F-keys for the buttons? now if i press triangle or Y(xbox360) the console opens and on another button i get to freecam mode...
I'm trying to install this with the mod manager after manually downloading the file but I keep getting an error "A problem occurred during install: This mod does not have the correct file structure for The Witcher 3 mod that NMM can use. It will not work with NMM. The mod was not installed." Is this mod still working? I'm playing Witcher 3 with steam in windows 10.
Yes, it works, but you have to install it manually according to the instructions. NNM Installation will not work, because the files don't go into the main directory of the game.
[EDIT] The Problem was with More Quick Slots. The solution was changing the "New Quick Slots Use" to "Bind New Keys" under Options > Mods > More Quick Slots > Keyboard [/EDIT]
This control scheme is phenomenal, but I'm having issues getting some of the secondary functions to work with the modifier button. I can't seem to do anything with Squre, Triangle, or most of the alternative dpad buttons. When I can get L1+Right to work it will only work once until I open the menu and try again. I also tried adding a macro for L1+L2 to trigger the auto-loot mod and it also will only function once until I access the menu at which point I can again only use it once.
I have no idea if this is an issue with InputMapper, Ultimate Gamepad, More Quick Slots, or Instant Sign Casting
Glad you found the solution. You're not using Ultimate Gamepad and Instant Sign Casting at the same time though, right?

Hmm, I wasn't aware of any Bluetooth Problems with InputMapper, except having to connect the controller before starting steam. I really though InputMapper was just the newer version of DS4Windows, because it's by the same guy.

Holding the buttons don't do anything and then weirdly the input icons keep switching between k&m and gamepad icons.
Using inputmapper with DS4 and I installed properly.
This sounds weird, it's too bad I don't have the gog version to try it out.
