Flippin BEAUTIFUL MOD. Don't know how this isn't in the base game, especially after the next gen update. Literally every depiction of witchers show them with atleast slightly glowing eyes. Made my experience 10 times better. Every time I see Geralts eyes now, especially in the dark, I can't help but smile at how cool they look. Looking forward to seeing other witchers in my playthrough with this mod on. Thank you thank you thank you!

Any chance you could upload different brightness versions for the glowing eyes version?

There are already 5 different brightness options for EACH color.

Likely not, since that mod uses its own meshes for everything.

Hey, quick question, does this affect all witchers eyes in game or only Geralt?

Hi, for glowing modular eye, how do I replace the texture? Is it the same if I use the normal glowing eyes?

I really need help. I installed the "Glowing yellow eyes mod (medium)" and replaced the texture.cache with the one from this mod here https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5333 . Once I did this my game kept getting blurry loading screens in between dialogue options in cutscenes. I uninstalled the mod but the issue still keeps happening. My game worked perfectly fine before installing this one mod. Uninstalling it doesn't even fix this issue. Please help.

Do not replace any texture.cache files.

i don't know what mods you installed or how many they are but that blurry is a sign that you're almost at the max of mod vanilla limit, i have that same problem before after installing 50+ mods mostly texture aka beautification mods those are large files that need to be on top of your load order if not you will got some blurry in some scenes like when buying to a merchant etc. use patcher of this mod Mod limit fix to increase your limit, as of now i have 100+ mods with no problem like yours good luck

The long loading screen he experienced is because he replaced the texture.cache with another that did not contain the texture used by thr glowing eyes, so the game searchs and searchs for the texture (the long loading screen) and does not find it.

Okay, well maybe I'm misunderstanding and you can help me realize my errors. I thought the "Glowing Witcher Eyes" mod was compatible with other eye texture mods out there based on the description. I believed all you had to do was replace the texture.cache with whatever other eye mod you wanted. This actually worked, as I noticed the difference in game. My original eye mod, started to glow after I downloaded your mod. It's just now the cutscenes are blurred and take forever to load. Even when I uninstall all eye mods, the problem still persist. I really don't get how this could be happening?

Nevermind. I think as of now, I got it working again. I think it does have something to do with to many heavy texture.cache files in the mod folder. I had to move some around. I still don't really understand it to be honest. I'm sorry for bothering you and thanks for the help.

It's compatible in that it doesn't change any textures present in the vanilla game (which is what most texture mods for Witcher eyes are modifying), but it does contain its own texture, namely that of the "eye_mask", which basically tells the game what part of the eye should be glowing. Switching out the texture.cache in this mod removes that mask, meaning the modified eyeball mesh is trying to find a texture that no longer exists, causing your problem in this case. If you want to use another eye mod that contains textures, you can use it alongside this one, but you can't switch out the texture.cache from this mod for one from a different one.

No matter how many times I reinstall the game, the eyes won't work. I simply have the default eyes even though I have the mod installed. Any idea how I can fix it?

PS. I am using it in combination with Brutal Face 2,0

The folder is quite large so here's the part where glowing eyes is: https://imgur.com/a/KEZ82mi

That "mod0000ikillsoftlys_killingM_noeyes" mod, try removing it and checking it.

Tried that, but still the eyes don't change. I even removed all the mods that affect Geralt's face in any way and tried using only this mod but even that doesn't seem to work. Even adjusting the priority doesn't change anyhting.

PS: I also have Modular eyes installed and that mod works fine. However, I installed modular eyes after glowing eyes, since I thought I would be able to get glowing eyes working with the modular eyes mod.

Read Modular Eyes Page, it has a specific section for glowing eyes.

Okay, thank you for your response. I am stupid, I kept installing the normal eyes mod even tough I adjusted every in modular eyes correctly. The issue was that I didn't see the optional download for modular eyes.
