This mod sadly conflicts with Friendly HUD, therefore I'll have to resort bakc to not using it :'(

I'm having trouble deciding how to merge this with Crossbow Damage Boost and Balance http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1126/?
They both modify playerWitcher.ws and it can't be auto-solved. The conflict looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/CEwSjS5.jpg
Is it possible for these two mods to be used together?

    EDIT: Nevermind, I got it.

I'm actually having the same issue. Mind sharing how you fixed the conflict?

Hello, sadly I have no idea what I did back in 2016 to get the game going.  However I can tell you what I do present day:
Use this mod for Custom Toxicity: Customise Toxicity Effect at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
Use this mod for Crossbow Bolts: Stronger Crossbow Bolts at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

Way less headaches and compatibility problems that way.

somehow face fx's flickering in gameplay, that's pretty annoying, like it's constantly checking if the effect is applied, but i take that probably no one will hear my cry :D

This mod is an absolute requirement! Sadly i suffer from the same issue as this guy:

    monochrony
"It seems the mod (Customise Toxicity Effect) is buggy. Same goes for the "Custom Toxicity FX Thresholds" mod. The screen effect sometimes applies nontheless, mostly after cutscenes. Going with the "Toxicity - Clean Face and Screen" mod for now. "

I combined this mod with the screen only version of Clean face and screen, now i don't have to deal with the screen effect but i still get all the fixes and goodies this one gives you.

Just came across this mod and it seems to fix the age old bugs with toxicity effects not appearing on Geralt's face...or never going away. Great job thanks!

Unification patch compatible mod version: modCustomToxicityFXThreshold. Do not forget to download and endorse original file!

2PlanetDestroyer If you're still modding TW3, I ask you to consider switching to Unification patch as this situation with different game versions being given the same number is very annoying and it looks like CDPR is not going to do anything about it.

Hi, do you have the GOTY version or the regular one? Expansions? Which platform (GOG, Steam, Origin...)?

Make sure to download the correct file. The main file is for the non-GOTY v.1.30/1.31. The optional file below that _should_ work with GOTY v.1.31 but I haven't tested it. Only use one or the other. I'm sorry if this is confising but the GOTY 1.31 is different from non-GOTY 1.31 (in terms of a couple script files, not game content).

I just tested and it works for my non-GOTY game + both expansions (v. 1.31, GOG).

Edit: I also modified the mod description to be a bit clearer about this

Ok, I'm confused now. Apparently GOG GOTY is a "unique" v.1.31 but Steam GOTY is just a normal non-GOTY v.1.31 + expansions.

Did you also try the non-GOTY version? That's the one that should work for you. If you try to remove all other mods (+ anything script merger has created), does the game still not launch?

You could also consider downloading this unified patch and trying the GOTY version http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2134/?. Note that all your mods will need to be GOTY compatible.

I'm gonna have to change the mod description again... Ugh.

Anyway, thanks for bringing this to my attention

Version 1.3 of the mod is also compatible with the new hotfix patch 1.31. I also uploaded a GOTY (1.31) compatible version. It should work but I can't test it since I don't have the GOTY version of The Witcher 3.

I have no idea what CDPR is doing with the version numbers but it's really confusing. The regular version got patch 1.30 when the GOTY released that was basically the same as the GOTY version (which is version 1.31) except for the fact that GOTY version has the changing main menu video. Because of that, some of the scripts are different in patch 1.30 and GOTY (1.31). Now CDPR released a hotfix patch called 1.31 for the regular version (I have no idea if GOTY got a patch and if its version number is different). This 'regular 1.31' is still different from 'GOTY 1.31' which makes this whole thing a mess.

Anyway, there should be working versions of this mod for the lastest regular and GOTY versions now.
