Hi I am Nothinmuch, this is my first mod so please be kind!! :)
Witcher Crossbows Overhaul was created with the purpose of making crossbow more useful, not necessarily by augmenting the damage they do but by adding them some interesting bonuses, effects and new upgrade schematics. This mod started in my head way before Blood and Wine expansion was released, I always wonder why they were only two witcher crossbows, what about the other school? But that was not that important back then, when Blood and Wine got out, I saw that now we have "Set Bonuses", how disappointed I was to see that not only no new "Grandmaster" crossbow were added but crossbow didn't even count in the "Set Bonuses". This mod is here to here to remedy this situation.

Features of the mod:
So what Witcher Crossbows Overhaul adds to the game, currently?
First of all now you have the possibility to play with the 4 Witcher School Crossbow which are:
Obviously, for the Blood and Wine users, I added :
Now, every crossbow have 3 schematics (Manticore Crossbow excluded, got only 1). So if you play the game from a fresh start, and go through the scavenger hunts quest, you will find the schematic for the crossbow WITH the schematic for the silver sword of the corresponding Witcher school. Every crossbow will upgrade from "Normal, to Superior, to Grandmaster", I didn't include every possible upgrade as crossbow are not that useful in the beginning of the game.
Note: Due to a problem with finding the corresponding container for the Witcher Wolven School, the normal and superior diagram for Wolven crossbow were added to "Hattori", so after completing the quest "Of sword and dumpling" you can buy it from him.
Finally, for the Blood and Wine users, you now have the Grandmaster schematics integrated into the scavenger hunts quests, so you can acquire them the "normal way". Also now every crossbow from the "5" Witcher School work in the "Set Bonuses" of the corresponding set, but the requirement for "Full Set Bonuses" were not changed, it is still 3/6 and 6/6.

So what Witcher Crossbows Overhaul adds to the game, currently?

(No Manticore and All Grandmaster upgrade, form people without BaW)
Installation / Uninstallation
FIRST OF ALL:
!! OPEN YOUR GAME AND UNEQUIP ANY WITCHER ARMOURS, PANTS, GLOVES, BOOTS, STEEL SWORD, SILVER SWORD AND CROSSBOW FROM YOURSELF, OR ELSE YOU MIGHT HAVE THE -1/6 SET BONUS GLITCH !!

INSTALL
Select the version you want from files section.
Copy the modWitcherCrossbowsOverhaul folder in your Mods Folder in:
\The Witcher 3\Mods\. (If you have not this folder, create it!)
UNINSTALL
*I would suggest to sell/drop/unequip any of the Crossbow from my mod before removing the file*
Then go in \The Witcher 3\Mods\ and delete modWitcherCrossbowsOverhaul folder.
