Its been sadly dead for quite a while. Ive lost the original source at some point and due the fact that there were many alternative to it, i didn't bother trying to get it to work again.
If anyone wants to pick it up, decompile it and update it, go ahead. Just credit me.
Unfortunately this was last updated in January 2017, so I'm not sure anything more is going to be done with this. (much to my heartbreak, it won't work with my version of SMAPI and SDV.)
Had one more idea: Maybe add info on if a person has been given a gift that day? Since you can only give them one gift a day in addition to the two gifts a week limit.
As this isn't something the base game's HUD will tell you I dunno how hard it would be to do, though.
--------------------------- Also not really a big deal but just thought I'd mention that giving gifts to your spouse overcaps the 2 per week numbering. I think last week I had "7 out of 2" by the end. XD
Giving people birthday presents will also do this (can have "3 out of 2"), but then the base game's HUD bugs out on that one as well (it just reverts to looking like you've only given the person one gift that week).
The thing is the list gets wider every time i add something. Either i need to split it in 2 lines or it gets even wider than currently, which is kinda ugly and takes all the space on the left side.
Oh well i wasn't aware that you could give more than 2 gifts per week. Thanks for pointing that out. Does it only work with the spouse?
Well i already thought about an minimalism version of the text stuff, i gonna take a look when i'm back home, though some characters e.g. / transformed into a smiley ? with the font i used.
And ye also thought about rendering some icons but i would need to know how long the string in pixel is to render it at the correct positions.
I need to check how Concernedape did it in the original code, then i could sort it by alphabet.
Tbh. i cant even tell how it sorts currently xD, normally it should go like in the config file.
Btw. there is a new version out if you want to mirror the list or have an offset in the horizontal, no need to download if you dont need either of it ^^

Sadly i cant tell why Krobus isn't in the list. I asked modder and smapi developer but they simply confirmed that it is just npc and should be in the list. I will try to contact Concernedape and see if he can help me.

I was going to wait till my next playthrough to install FLO, seemed like a poor idea to add a new NPC in the middle of an active save game for a mod like that.
Very neat, but I think it would be even more useful if it also tracked how many gifts you gave each person for the week. I dislike having to open up the menu and scroll down a lot to figure out who can still receive gifts. n.nU

EDIT: Just out of curiosity would this mod work "out of the box" with custom NPCs, or does it use a hardcoded list that would need to be amended? I.e. for like the FLO New Custom NPC mod, or a mod that made one of the base game's non-giftable NPCs actually giftable (hypothetically, dunno if a mod like that exists).
That was a quick reply. Well a hotkey to toggle the display would be nice. I mean if you're keeping track of a lot of NPCs then its gonna take up a large portion of the screen space and you'd probably not want it on 100% of the time. :P
(Unless I missed something I didn't see a hotkey mentioned and there's no rebind in the config file.)
As long as the custom npc is in the npc list it should work, try it out ^^
Anyway i've added the hotkey V to toggle the list. If you want to change it you need to get the keycode at the moment, since i need to figured out how to use the actual key and not the keycode (V = 86).

Or if inserting icons isn't easy you could simulate it with text, i.e. something like:
Penny: X Hearts, Gifts - [ ] [x]

Is there a way to sort the list by name? Currently it seems somewhat Random, even if I alphabetize the NpcList in the json.

Just a note, if you have extra experience bars installed (I have the Luck skill) adding another 40 to the offset seems to be about right. :]
On which resolution are you playing? Sebastian's info seems to be longer than the box, which is weird.
Edit: Oh well i think another hotfix is needed, wasn't aware that Sebastian's info is longer when it reaches 100+ xD
