Smapi keeps telling me there's an update available even though I've downloaded and added the new file probably five times already. I also delete the old one before putting the new one into the mods folder. It seems to work fine so I'm not really worried, but it's just kinda weird. Love this mod though! Mister Ginger is a wonderful addition to the town <3
That happens when the Mod Creator forgets to update the version number in one of the Mod files. So Smapi is comparing the version number in the file with the latest version number on here. So not too big of deal unless you are like me who has a mild OCD.

At present Custom Fixed Dialogue will not work on 1.6 and due to Aedenthorn's modding hiatus (announced back in January 2024 in the Stardew Valley discord server), it is unlikely to receive an update. Some of CFD's keys have been rolled into 1.6 itself, but others have not (mainly a lot of marriage strings or question keys). As such, if you'd like to create an unofficial update, you can do so under Aedenthorn's GPLv3 license, but you will also need to take into account the new keys to not override 1.6 key lines.
There are no current projects to unofficial Custom Fixed Dialogue, so this mod is up for grabs! Feel free to unofficial if you'd like (or any of Aedenthorn's other mods).
Good news everyone! Thanks to Datamancer, Custom Fixed Dialogue now has a 1.6 version! It retains the old mod ID, so stuff like Immersive Shane should now be able to use all of its old keys (and I checked, it so far isn't overriding anything vanilla).

I was looking through the available strings... just to confirm, this doesn't work on delivery quests, does it? (mostly thinking of the thank you / here's your payment stuff they say when you complete the quest)
My God what is happening... I'm on 1.4 mobile so the current smapi version is avail. To me is 3.7.6.10 I already did follow the instructions but when I opened it. it gave me a warning I need a latest ver.
I'm so confused. Pls can someone help me I'm a total noob when it comes to modding :'(
As far as I can tell, none of them work on Android, I went through almost all of them and they either won't load the DLL, say that SMAPI needs to be updated, or say that the version trying to be used can't load cause it's too old or something. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
