WE NEED your mod updated because "reasons" hehe...
I took the time to look to the files and make a "PATCH" file to the player.config file..This way it will never conflict with other mods that modify the player.config file.
Check it : https://www.dropbox.com/s/lkmembz04cp8x2d/invisibleArmor.rar?dl=0 (it work flawlessly for me)
And if you liked it, please add it to your mod, no credit needed
Thank you! As you see I am inexperienced coder... though I do really want to be an experienced one. You're "PATCH" really helped me out. I will add it to the mod at once!
Tell me please, if you really want to, what other nifty coding techniques you can tell me? Any type would be considered new to me.
I read the 1.1.1 update notes and there isn't anything that can ruin it. Could you please install the mod again? I corresponded between the mod download and what I have installed on my game.
Also by "Cannot get it to work" do you mean that the game crashed on launch or that the items don't show up in the spinning wheel?
One more thing, I apologize for this LATE replay. I honestly didn't know that a comment was created. Next time I'll be receiving email notifications.
Installed them in the right folders with the assets just like the screen shot shows and the installation descrip. The invisible items do not show up in the spinning wheel's crafting page.
There are many options but I will pin it down to two. First option is simple, you can type /admin in the game's chat, open the spinning wheel and the items should appear.
For the second option, I'll upload a player.config file with a tweak. What that tweak will do is make so that every new character (and existing ones) will have the recipes already unlocked. BUT it's a tweak, not an addition. That means there is a high chance of other mods conflict.
Put the file into this directory: C:\(Installation location)\Starbound\mods\assets
Further more, the good thing about the second option is that the unlocked recipes will be saved on each existing launched character, even after the tweaked player.config was deleted afterwards.
Honestly stick with the first option, the second one is just so to make the gameplay legit, as in no cheats.
Hold a min! The mod was update! Forget about my tweak option. There is a new file in the download tiled "Player.config.patch", add it to your mods directory: C:\(Installation location)\Starbound\mods\assets.

The first set allows you to use the armor hiders as starter outfits, and the other patches give this mod native compatibility with the Wardrobe mod.
I also have an optional set of files that change the crafting recipes, if you want those too.
Well I can... But I mean I won't. Because lack of interest. Hope you understand...
I apologies for the disappointment Skinny.
Sorry,
Manny.
