Just want to say this is a great tool. Does what it says on the tin, and the ability to make borderless signs allows endless custom decoration options.
This may sound stupid but i have the image made and successfully converted it to a lovely 5080 .json files but when i got to import from star cheat (0.22) I could couldn't get my files to show up no matter if i moved them or what not they would not appear.
Well thats my story. If you can help me with this that would be great. It could be that i don't understand this part (and still don't ) This will make a new folder named after the image you selected in the same directory as that image, then place a bunch of .json files there. The .json files are named x#y#.json, which tells you where to place the image. x0y0 is the top left corner, x1y0 is to the right of x0y0, x0y1 is to the bottom of x0y0, and x1y1 is to the bottom right of x0y0, etc.
I've been doing testing, the problem is trying to get more than one animated sign to sync up. Try it with the built-in sign creator in the outpost. Even when you wire them together, getting them synced is impossible.
Ok, for some reason i can't open the jar file at all. I'll try to update my java, but i think i had it updated recently... Keeps showing "Java exception" error
I tried it out real quick, and it's totally working. (It's weirding out a bit in the screen, but I had some other RAM hungry stuff running in the bg) Thanks!

Amazing stuffz tho!
So now that I figured that out, I'm looking into ways to make this.

I have a planet with 154 signs right at beam-in... it takes like 10 seconds to load on beam in, it's crazy!
