i have a problem with the mod, i'm following all the steps to install the mod but i cant craft any medkit, what can i do? i extract the file in the zip and put it in the folder "mods" of starbound, in the game the mod appears where you see the menu of mods, but in my game, with my character, any medkit appear in my crafting menu :'( help pls
Is there a way to make the med-kits useable work on other players, or do you have to toss them into their inventory so they can equip it and use it on themselves, which is slightly more convoluted in a pinch?
Standard stay as just that. iron changed to Large Med Kit, gold to Advanced Med Kit, and diamond to Field medics kit.I was a medic in the Army for 5 years. Call this a professional opinion (haha). Also I would change the crafting requirements. Implement bandages and stimpacks (I think the red ones are for regenerating health and energy? Would be my choice of stim for the crafting of the kits) rather than just the ore and plant fibers. I leave the ratios up to your best judgment. If of course you like/implement my idea.

great idea, nice mod. My one complaint is that the basic med kit is a bit under powered. I'm getting 3 bars of health from bandages vs 2 bars from the basic med kit. Bandages are only 4 fiber. <shrug>
Ya, I feel the same way. The only reason I made basic medkit heal 25 is because that's how much the one that's already in the game heals you. But, I feel like I should change it and make it a bit better, possibly do the same to the rest. I'm not sure what to change the stats to though... What do you(and everyone else) feel like they should be?

This is what they currently are: Standard: 25 hp Iron: 50 hp Gold: 125 hp Diamond: 300 hp
Here's what I'm thinking of changing them to: Standard: 50 hp Iron: 100 hp Gold: 175 or 200 hp Diamond: 300 hp
So Diamond would stay the same, cause 300 is quite a bit of hp, but the rest would probably go up. What do you guys think about that, if you feel one is now over powered or under powered please let me know, this way I can take your opinions into account and this way the you guys have some say in what I change. So, please let me know if you like the newer stats or the older stats more, or if you think they should be different. Haha, sorry for such a long message :p
I can't comment on diamond, as I have yet to find any diamonds (JUST made it to the 3rd tier about 5 minutes ago), but the others sound just about right. As a fellow modder (mostly FO3 and FO:NV) Ive been impressed on the speed of your responses and how much you listen to our complaints/suggestions

Edit - The Mod has now been updated to heal higher amounts, don't forget to download and enjoy.
This is something the game is really missing right now. I'm tracking this for now, but when I get my current mods sorted out and updated so Starbound will actually launch I'll be back to DL and install it. Thanks for making this.
