Hey Folks Sorry for the ships not being up to date, I am working on a ship from FTL. I've updated the Absolution so please download accordingly again sorry for the wait.
I got a problem silver, every other ships i tried with the 1.3 works but yours it just give me this message: Client-server connection no longer valid :/
Hey so, whenever I start the game with this mod the game just crashes. It runs fine without this mod but crashes on startup if I use the mod. The ship looks amazing and I really want to test it with a new save. I followed the install steps but it's still not working. What do I do here?
hmm you know what, this is REALLLYYYYY late of a post but I'm going to whip out a FTL inspired ship I was working on back in 14 when Starbound was still in EA.
Really beautiful ship but since the latest patch from the 18th February (Enraged Koala I think it is) it is no longer compatible, so I can't launch the game anymore without deinstalling and deleting the ship. Problem is I got around 94k Voxel, all the crafting stations, ressources, materials and crates over crates of other stuff on that ship Is there gonna be an update for this ship any time soon or is on hold? Nevertheless thanks for the awesome work and greetings from Kassel
Hello, I've got a solution. Hazardous solution but still :
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\mods\Absolution Tri-Drives (or Dual Drives) If you have any problem trying a manual search, then right click starbound in your game list on steam, then properties > local files > browse local files
2. Open the file Absolution.modinfo simply with the notepad
3. Change this line (be careful, no mistakes) :
"version" : "Beta v. Furious Koala",
into :
"version" : "Beta v. Enraged Koala",
Works fine for me but I'm not sure this is a very good advise ! And if you're afraid of another update, then put your stuff safe on a planet
Hey thanks, worked just fine for me. Yeah probably the best idea to move all the stuff to a planet as long as there's not another planet wipe... Well anyway thanks again
EDIT 2: Well I don't know what I did but I fixed it... background loaded properly this time. Thank you for this wonderful mod ^_^ Has been my favorite human ship since I first downloaded it. Glad I got it working with the latest version so I can use it again 100/10 ! ------------------------------------------------------ EDIT 1: Well I tried from scratch, put <only> the Absolution mod in, changed it to Enraged Koala, well that works (kinda) no starry background with planet though :
And not sure if its the mod or the update but Starbound has been running a bit slower and laggy than usual... ------------------------------------------------------ I've tried this and it doesn't work for me. I keep getting an Access Violation error. (but I have all my starbound, starbound_gl, starbound_server running as admin) game runs fine as non-human, if I get rid of the mod I can play as human)? Any suggestions? I've tried putting all the resource folders in the user assets folder thinking it might load from there but still an access error message
Hey Folks, nope I'm not dead nor have I abandoned the project, just other aspects ive been tending to. there was an update as well today in addition to Enraged koala last month ;0, I'll update this in a few days as well as spruce it up as best I can. for the time being however if you want to manually update the vessel NOW.
go to where you installed this vessel (The Mods folder) and open up Absolution.modinfo with notepad or notepad++ there you will see the Terms used in the updates /Enraged/furious/incandescent Koala. simply change it to the corresponding update and the Ship will work.
in the mean time as I've been wondering for ages, any updates/comments/concerns/ideas? really I'm all open for them since I'm out of ideas lol.

It don't work in multiplayer... every time I try to beam to the ship of my friend, the game crash..... BUT IT'S THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM SHIP I EVER SEEN !!!!!!!
