I have been trying in vain to get this mod to work. It will not. It refuses. Or rather, it doesn't tell me if it works or not, instead it just doesn't do anything.
Trying to spawn the item manually only results in perfect cubes. Trying to craft it no matter what, is impossible because it's not listed.
I updated this for Upbeat Giraffe, don't know if it's cool to upload someone elses mod though. I'm happy to send it to the original author for them to use.
Hi I'm using the "variety is the spice of life" mod which adds new biomes, and when I install this mod when I go to the anvil or robotic crafting table all it adds are "generic items" with the description "possibly too generic"
Also, if you made this a playable race, I think it would turn out well. You would be able to customize your suit! Oh, and maybe actually implement a version of the armor that has the ArmCannon on it, as well with usable Beams? It might have to be invisible so that it doesn't really conflict with the texture.

1. rename: ./assets/player.config -> ./assets/player.config.patch
2. change content of ./assets/player.config.patch:

3.2 remove dropCollision line
3.3 change: inspectionKind -> tooltipKind
3.4 remove complete section of statusEffects
4. repeat step 3 for Hox_VariaBoots.legs and Hox_VariaHelm.head
5. repeat step 3 and 4 for ./assets/items/armors/other/Hox_GravSuit/
6. create all at the anvil and enjoy

You should make the other suits, too. Only if you feel like it, though.
