Soft requirement: Scrambled Bugs, which implements Parapets's healthbar bug fix.
Without it, some (most) of this mod's health boosts will not be visible in the HUD, causing it to look like you're doing no damage until you deplete them to vanilla health levels.
This makes the first Alduin fight unplayable. Even being at level 69 I was killed by the fire breath so quickly I didn't even have time to go to inventory to use health potions.
question about how alduin works with the installer because I'm having a brain fart and not understanding the FAQ: I currently have the mod running at health x8, melee + breath dmg x4 and alduin the same as the other dragons. Does this mean he'll be doubled in everything?, because the way I'm reading FAQ that's what I'm getting.
I just started a new game and defeated mirmulnir on expert, he wasn't a pushover but he did go down rather quick. I understand that he's the first dragon, so does that mean alduin and the other dragons are going to be WAY tougher or is this a alright place to be?
Is it possible that there is a tiny bug with the settings? When I launch Skyrim and immedietly fight an Elder Fire Dragon from the Splendor mod, this dragons fire breath is guarenteed to kill, despite the breath setting sitting only at *2. But when I die and reload, that same breath now "only" puts me at about 30% of my full health.
Does this mod need to game to go through a loading screen to run the settings correctly?
Thousands of mods available on Nexus and other sites and MO2 has no problem handling any I have come across until this one. I don't think this is a problem with MO2. This is a problem with how you set up the mod. As far as I can tell, MO2 needs a "Data" file. You have no "Data" file in your file. EDIT: When you install from the downloads in MO2, use the manual install. Right click on the folder you want to use (i.e. health x1, melee x1, breath x2, alduin x0) and click "set as data directory". Now MO2 will install the .esp properly.
I`m use to play skyrim on master difficulty with restricted character building like no alchemy or enchanting, only bought potions and found enchanted items. The game feels like a challenge that way. The only thing that didn't were dragons. So I Installed this mod with 2x heath to all dragons. Problem is I role play so I don't ever prepare for my first dragon fight like buying fire res and magic res potions before the fight with my prior game knowledge. To my character's understanding he was just going to deliver the stone and get a reward. He never fought a dragon so he doesn't know he needs or how to prepare for a dragon fight. So I just go raw. Problem is that eventually u get good enough gear that dragons become trivial, that's why I installed this mod. My problem is the first dragon. It's too hard. I get one shot with melee hit through my shield. I get melted by the dragons fire breath. Did I do something wrong during the installation? Can I just reinstall the mod to see if It fixes it? Is it only worth it to enable the mod after a fair few fights with dragons once they become easy? So many questions, I know, sorry. Anyway that's all, sorry for my bad english
a bit late bit pretty much the same issue, having level 30 dragons spawn that the moment they touch me with any breath on master I die in seconds, only solution is to lower the difficulty but then all the other enemies dont provide the challenge i want
I found another installer combo that has the "Perk -> [##00AA02] < Error: Could not be resolved >" issue in xEdit.
Health multiplier for generic dragons: 2 Melee multiplier for generic dragons: 1 Breath multiplier for generic dragons: 1 Alduin: Double the multipliers of other dragons
Ha after trying all the dragon mods ever created for this game I found that pairing this mod with new variants (Diverse Dragons + Splendor), using the 8x dragon health and 2x damage gave me the most satisfying results of all. Battles are looong (gives me Monster Hunter vibes) and damage received balanced for my modlist. Most other mods adds too much or the changes are clunky or they're too hard to balance in a sensible way, really appreciate this one!

I recommend Tougher Named Dragons - Higher Level and HP (Alduin and Durnehviir included) instead.
