Fabled Forests is made specifically for Skyrim Special Edition on Windows, as that is the only platform I own and develop for. I cannot and will not provide support for ports of this mod on any other platform, not limited to LE, XBox, etc.. either over private messages or forum posts. Thank you.

Unless you have a high end rig, don't even think about it.

Hi. I am not expert in questions of trees, landscapes and nature ofc but it seems a little bit odd to me when I see trees growing straight out of the water and near it in Morthal swamps. Is it meant to be?

so is nature of the wild lands incompatible with this or compatible with this?

probably one the best tree mod ive tested

unfortunately, performance dropped from 90fps to 55fps especially on a crowded tree forests

it lowers my fps compared to unvelwald

Funny, I had the exact opposite effect, and both mods with City Trees full installed. Went from around 95FPS in Riverwood to my refresh limit of 144(143 really) in the same spot with Fabled large.

Its good to have choices! ;)

I know that Nature of the Wildlands has a compatibility option for Enhanced Landscapes built in. Is that something that you eventually plan on implementing? No pressure, though! Take your time with development, and thanks for making such a great mod!

I'm sorry but the scope of the Enhanced Landscapes mod and the amount of incompatibilities it has are too big for me to handle without taking significant time away from developing this mod. It's very unlikely that I'll release a compatibility option for it. :(

Since no Enhanced Landscape patch will be made - do you have any suggestion on load order?
Should Fabled Forests overwrite Enhanced Landscapes or the other way around?

Fabled Forest only has trees and tree placement records. If you want to see its trees then it needs to overwrite everything else.

Alright, I've checked for conflicts with xEdit and a lot of trees get set to "Initially Disabled" in Enhanced Landscapes. I run the game and looked into some of these trees to see what happens when they are enabled again by Fabled Forests.

Result: If you load Fabled Forests after Enhanced Landscapes, you will get a lot of clipping trees in rocks and stuff. Since I couldn't identify other conflicts (such as landscapes edits) its safe to assume that you should load Enhanced Landscapes AFTER Fabled Forests.

      BUT:

      • Some trees are not disabled by Enhanced Landscapes, but moved to another location to avoid clipping. These trees will have the original (Vanilla) size. However, I think that this won't be noticeable ingame, because these changes affects only a small amount of trees.
      • Some trees in the Riften area will be Aspen trees (in vanilla size) instead of Pine trees.
      • As Vortex user I was not able to load Enhanced Landscapes after Fabled Forests. I tried several things, but it didn't work out. Sooo... I think a patch is needed -.-

P.S.: The Great Town of Shors Stone may need a patch if you want bigger trees. Otherwise just load it after Fabled Forests.

If you're still looking for a solution, you could try Enhanced Landscapes - No Trees - Vek's Tweaks

Can I remove happy little trees from my modlist if I get this instead? Thank you.

I've noticed the LOD for this does not match when up north.  I'll be traveling and see a bunch of tall trees, then they will all just fade away as I get closer only leaving smaller vanilla trees.  I've only noticed this so far in the area West of Solitude.  Any idea how to fix?
