    Compatibility info :

This mod is compatible with :

    -Helgen Reborn (Follow my instructions)
-All quest mod that lead to Anise's cabin basement cell (the access hiding near the Staple Tower)
-Should be compatible with Realistic Water Two mod, but I need this in game for confirmation, SSEEdits say Dock Of Ilslod is the only issue.

The Spiced Wine Recipe quest is buggy when you are in Glatho's house basement after you give the stolen Recipe from Evette San. to fix this, here is the solutions:

Solution 1: Player.setstage ST_TSWR01 32 and see if she has the dialogue now, if not, try solution 2

Solution 2: Player.setstage ST_TSWR01 33 and Player.additem xx04d800 1 (to know the xx code, Help "Recipe" search for "spiced wine recipe" in the result, than go slip it the recipe in Evette San's pockets

Solution 3 : Player.setstage ST_TSWR01 35 than talk to Valinna at her stand outside, and say the coded sentence. Than do the next phase of the quest.

Solution 4 : Kill Evette San to fail the quest. (bounty on your head in stonecrest and solitude plus Valinna hate you)

Note: everytime you are told to talk to Valinna in the quest, she must be at her Market Stand.

It's honestly a shame that this mod hasn't received a lot of love and attention since 2017. It's pretty clear that there's been some passion and talent put into this mod and it really does show even if it's getting a little long in the tooth. For starters, the fact that this mod has NPC scenes and are seen interacting with each other is amazing to me! Even in 2023 with a bunch of small-town mods, villages, hamlets, and stuff like that you rarely see the NPCs interacting with each other when walking into the area and starting off a quest like it's a vanilla spot. Not only that, but the town is also perfectly sized with it not taking up TOO much space, but still feeling like a natural part of the world. I liked also how it incorporated Anise's cabin and included that little area in the walls of the town and treated it like it was just another part of the town which was kind of neat.

Sadly this mod is incompatible with practically anything that changes that area of the world and then some. Have grass mods? Grass grows everywhere. Have tree mods? Trees grow everywhere. Have Ryn's Standing Stones and Ryn's Anise Cabin? Land tears and pitfalls all over the place. That's just on top of a lot of other changes that are out there and mentioned below by other people. It's fine if you're doing a mostly vanilla+ playthrough with minimal mods (such as just adding gameplay additions and bugfixes and MAYBE some quest stuff that doesn't touch the area) but sadly for heavily modded playthroughs, it might not fit, especially since there's not a lot of patches to make it work with so many other mods.

THOUGH I will say if it ever gets picked back up, dusted off, reworked, patched up, and the bugs ironed out I'd love to give it another go.

This mod is uncompability with so much grass and navmesh mods. With new creatures mods too. Also make CTDs without patches and xEdit changes

This mod seem to be incompatible with Rigmor of Bruma. With Anise's Cabin out of the way, there would be no way to complete the quest line.

Actually you can using console command progress the line using setstage I have done so myself and had no issues with continuing the mod

The author actually posted a line about compatible mods, saying "-All quest mod that lead to Anise's cabin basement cell (the access hiding near the Staple Tower)"

Does this mean that Anise and her cabin are actually there somewhere? And... where's the Staple Tower?

Most likely the items needed to complete that quest would just be sitting on the ground in the same spot unless something is placed at the spot of Anise's table in the cabin.

It would be amazing if there were a version without the quest.

I found a couple of incompatibilities between this mod and Project Optimization ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14084 ).
Basically, the second add some occlusion planes to cells 00009B4F and 00009B70 that causes the entire city to flicker or even disappear when you get close or inside it.

My solution was to use XEdit and delete all (actually very few) occlusion planes added in those cells inside Project Optimization ( Occ_Skyrim_Tamriel.esp ).
it works very well, but it would be much much nicer to just have a nice patch for it ;)

I actually have no idea as to how to create a patch that "removes" things from other ESPs... so... it would be wonderful if somebody with some actual mod ability can do it :P

I also found some weird "elevations" in the terrain, but I believe those happened because some rocks added by just another mod I have installed (I'll be trying to remove those soon too).

    This Mod is Incompatible with:

    - Technicolor Alchemy Overhaul (link) => many Floras added in the are floating, mainly around the area the Anise Cabin was
    - Tundra Berries (link) => same reason above
    - Dark Forests of Skyrim =>? Many trees added in the area
    - Skyrim Immersive Creatures (link) => A spawn point of Ancient Spriggan is in the middle of the city
    - The old basement entrance of Anise Cabin is still floating in the same place and still can be lockpicked

If any of those can be solved without a patch, I would be very thankful if you helped me with them :)

Edit: I found out the Mod Tamrielic Culture also edit the entrance of Anise Cabin. It is just a matter of loading Stonecrest after it. Regarding to the other Mods, only patches would solve their issues

    How to start the Quest???

A Falkreath hold bounty was bugged by stonecrest sending me to Asciene who I cannot even talk to because everything is locked up and you cannot interact with her. That this somehow conflicts with a bounty that has nothing to do with this town is worrisome.

I do adore the town as a general functional town. If there was a quest free version with the basic bones like riverwood but minus quests, I would happily use it, but now it is interfering with base game elements. Time to delete.

Beautiful town that is useful as a town in general but the quest here is crap in that I cannot even start it. No guard at door. Tried what another post said worked for them, which was to break in and pay the fine. But then someone that may or may not be a guard showed up and was bugged repeating dialogue to speak and that he hasn't got all day. Neither do I.

Really if you aren't going to update or fix bugs you should label as such so people know to not waste time with quests. City itself is nice and useful for that. Quests? Not so much. Literally wasted a game day trying to get the first quest started then decided if that part is bugged I am probably best to just ignore it completely. Based on many comments this is essentially a dead mod for questing but a functional town in that it provides services. Should be tagged as such.
