Hi, I'm translating Morrowind into Brazilian Portuguese.
The problem is that Morrowind is specific.
In the DIAL section, there are key words that are used in the INFO section, because during conversations with NPCs, key phrases are highlighted and can be clicked on to take you to more information about that key item. There are almost 3000 items in DIAL, once translated, you have to go and translate INFO and manually ensure that the key words are the same as in DIAL.
Do you know anything or any tool of the program that can be used to automate this translation, for example, preventing this keyword from being changed?
Hello fellow translator. Was doing some research to translate New Vegas into Ukrainian. My issue was different, but the solution probably may help you as well. So basically for Fallout 3 and New Vegas there is an official tool called GECK. And there is a similar tool for Morrowind. It's called TES Construction Set(clickable). You should definitely give it a try.
There is an option to Export hints [Screenshot] in TES Construction Set. I think thats where those blue key words are. But I don't know how to import them back.
Petite question, est-ce normal que par moment je n'arrive pas à exporter le dossier Script lorsqu'une traduction comporte la ligne script ? De ce fait, comme elle n'est pas exportée, si j'ouvre la traduction exportée fraîchement, la ligne SCP n'y est plus et dans le jeu cela peut provoquer beaucoup de bugs.

I have plans to create a Ukrainian localization for Fallout 3 (without addons and Broken Steal so far) which I`ve passed many times. However, I encountered a problem already at the installation step in the guide. At the second step, I`m told "Copy the BDD database/s of the choosed game/s to the folder BDD in the install folder. Must be downloaded previously from the page of ESP Translator at Nexus." This sentence confuses me a lot, because I have no idea what BDD databases are, what exactly must be downloaded from "ESP Translator at Nexus" and why I don`t have BDD folder after installing ESP-ESM Translator (I have only Dictionaries, Help, Licences and Trads Autos folders). I assume BDD folder is what I must download from "ESP Translator at Nexus", but I`m not sure. And another question, what are "Main Databases" and "Hunspell Dictionaries"? P.S. I also downloaded "Ukrainian Databases for ESP-ESM Translator", I guess it will come in handy. Probably it needs to be put in the BDD folder as well, right?

Це якщо б у тебе була якась, то тоді ти міг би собі скопіювати туди (а за відсутності такої папки її можна самостійно створити в папці ESP-ESM Translator'а). А так, якщо ти робиш переклад з нуля, то воно тобі і не треба. Хіба що хтось вже переклав термінологію і зберіг її як базу даних. Я, до речі, працюю над перекладом Нью-Веґаса. Радий, що і за 3 хтось взявся.

You can use the "mass translation" option, which will solve your problems. It is limited to 5000 characters.ctrl + F12 for DeepL you need an API; you need to open a pro account and pay for it
Greetings friends. Don't know if anyone knows this, but I'll ask anyways. I'm trying to translate Oblivion into my native language. Basically there is .esm file in data folder with most of the data I need to translate. And the problem is that not everything is in there. I can take lets say German .esm file which contains everything I need to translate, but it also requires German voice files. And I want all the dialogues to be in English. Is there any way to fix this problem? I mean I probably need to stick with English .esm, but some stuff like main menu isn't there for some reason. Or maybe it's hidden and I need to unlock it or something? If anyone translated Bethesda games (from Morrowind to New Vegas) how did you deal with that? Thank you.
Помойка, меняешь язык на свой всё равно переводит на французкий. Видимо автор француз и вшил это где-то, но в таком интерфейсе можно глаза сломать. Пользуйтесь лучше старым ослом xTranslate, он хотя бы переводит на тот язык который вы укажете. Тут вообще чёрт шею свернёт, плюс настройки открываешь, закрываешь - закрывает вся программа. Жесть, рулить ногами удобнее чем эта программа.
Плохому танцору... (они) всегда мешают. Конечно нет русской инструкции, но ее нет и для других языков. Однако только единицы не могут с этим справиться. Нужно в настройках: Указать БД по умолчанию (словарь для игры) Язык программирования Выходной файл: Win1251
Hi! Have you done something with All Mods Tab? Before EET4 update for Starfield, I could use this tab to open the context menu (RMB) and select any of the translation functions (whether it's translate selected text, translate with a translator, Original=Translated and others). Now, if I'm clicking RMB in the All Mods tab, the context menu simply does not appear and to open it, you have to switch to the tab of the required plugin. It's ain't comfortable, to translate a lot of opened plugins at once.

Je ne suis plus très jeune et j'aimerai que la "loupe" (ctrl + roulette) puisse s'appliquer aux fenêtres lors de la traduction de masse.

It's ain't comfortable, to translate a lot of opened plugins at once.
