Does this mod allow you to change the rates and multipliers through MCM? if so this might be the simplest yet best fix for Vanilla Skyrim's Crit issues.

Just a warning to all that this mod breaks ordinator critical chance abilities.

How does this mod calculate critical damage?
    It says 2x..
    But 2x what?
Fairly sure the normal way criticals work is they simply add the critical damage value from the weapon - you can view in the creation kit. (and multiply it a bit since the only perks that give criticals do that). They don't care about your weapons calculated damage or base damage. Just literally adds +critical damage times multiplier. (Which is a littler under half of the normal base weapon damage)

Thus while great critical charges claim of "two-handed power attack while sprinting that does double critical damage." sounds great on paper, and if you managed to get it while otherwise being very weak and only using a basic iron weapon you would do a fair bit more damage - though not double..

But at high level, using a very high level tempered weapon that may do hundreds of damage.. The actually bonus is fixed so your base damage could be 300+, while the critical damage is only going to be 4-20 points extra, not anywhere near double.

Guessing this mod doesn't actually fix the brokenness of the multipliers/tempering scaling./etc.. But curious if it does attempt that? (Or should be explained in the readme it doesn't and the "2x" actually means in reality a fixed extra +4 to 20 damage depending on weapon type (iron to dragonbone).

That said, since critical damage ignores armor just plain double full damage might be overpowered. But i'd still rather have the choice (then balance the game other ways such as skytweak).

Hey there, I just wanted to let you know, since i was going throgh xEdit to find what mods are making me crash. Your mod is listed as Form Version 43. You might want to push your mod to pc, using the creation kit for the correct version. I found 12 mods in load order that don't have the right Form Version. These suckers add up after a bit.

For Skyrim SE you should use SSEEdit - here at nexus - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164/?
      .
A piece of advice, use sometime to learn to use it, it is powerful tool and to master it can take quite a while, I don't, but to learn the basics is not that hard.
      .
You will never do a proper modding without using this tool

This mod sets critical strike chance for weapons, when it should be using 'add value' instead. This results in any other mod that gives critical strike chance to those particular weapons being null and void. I've changed it on my end -- can you take a look at it please RipperArcane?

So, with this mod, will Valdr's lucky dagger crit 35% of the time, or will it remain at 25%?

First off, thx for the mod. Disgraceful that we have to mod in critical hits in skyrim, fallout 4 etc... Anyways, don't know if it's a conflict so much as an incompatibility, but your "book" version of this mod prevents Lucan from selling items from other mods (ie Legendary armors - deserter x collection) even using a bashed patch. Might want to look into it. Again, great mod, thumbs up!

If a mod doesnt have the bashed tags of "delevel" and/or "relevel" it wont be effected by a batched patch.
