BETA 1.0 Now released for Skyrim Special Edition! 04.11.2016 (Sorry for the slow updates) DLC FREE!
Updates
Cleaned file with SSEEdit
Fixed the bridge closest to Riverwood for NPC's
Known Issue in since ALPHA 1.8:
Bridge at Chillwind Debths is right in the middle of 3 seperate navmeshes. This means that if you cross the bridge fast your follower will not follow, but will try to find another route.
To fix this I would need to re-place the bridge, but for now it's not such a big issue. Followers are wonky all the time in Skyrim. But not to worry I'll fix it at a later date!
If you have free time and would like to help out! Then I'd suggest you to go through every bridge with an NPC and see if they're following. If they stop for no apparent reason report back or if they get stck on something etc.
Here are all of the coordinates for all of the bridges:
Bethesda.net, Xbox One & PS4 versions now released! 05.11.2016
I have no way of knowing whether or not the XBone & PS4 versions even work correctly. Which is funny I think, but if you happen to own either versions I'd be glad to hear if they work as intended.
Please report any conflicts you might find with Moon & Star and Convenient Bridges! I have now tested them both in my own load order and they seemed to work fine (5minutes of running around with a follower) Followed through the bridges and into the town & NPC's roamed the town.
I do remember something about overlapping Navmesh causing CTD's in Oldrim, but I checked the files with SSEedit and I only saw a couple of waterflowtags being overwritten. There was some other conflicts, but nothing that was not resolved by loading my mod after Moon & Star.
Permission is always something to consider when altering another persons mod files. Either way I have no issues with anyone editing their version from my mod.
I only ask that you or anyone else includes credits accordingly to the mod description.
I am not returning to Skyrim modding any time soon, so go ham. I think it's best for the community as well to have access to use these files freely.
This is a fantastic mod, it subtly adds to the landscape and encourages exploration. One thing to be aware of is that it adds a bridge to the solitude docks which is wildly incompatible with any mod that changes the far shore of the river , I tried running it with the great city of solitude and the giant clefts in the landscape were something to behold XD However, if you are not using such a mod or are able to create a patch I highly recommend this, its really nicely done.
This has been up on the Nexus for some time but I've only just seen it. Marvellous set of bridges carefully placed in all those area where you just really need one. Well fitted into the landscape, whether stone, wooden or just a rough crossing, even a fallen tree. So natural. 'Oh no, I'm gong to have to swim that river', thinks Dragonborn, suddenly stripping off because her armour will be sodden or if it's steel she will probably sink. Totally non-immersive and quite unreal.. But hey... here's a convenient bridge. Just perfect. Thank you.
Update on an update is that I no longer really mod Skyrim. I've moved on for now. It is somewhat sad for me to not have completed this, but I feel like it served the purpose I set out to do.
Can you update permissions on the description page of this mod and allow someone to continue your work?Of course, as with all Cathedral mods, they should give credit to you.
Hello This mod and Stonecrest City mod are incompatible with each other - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9303 and they both place a bridge in the relative same s place near the lake area to anise's , like a v shape, technically the 2 bridges can be used, I kinda still like it, its not causing a ctd, just visual quirkiness xD...

Safe to say it's passed that Beta test phase by now 😅
