ESP * Realistic Boat Bobbing SE (now All in One / always needed / removed 2 crates that were not bobbing right) * RBB - Falskaar (fixed all errors) * RBB - Wyrmstooth (fixed all errors)

Note: Previous versions are not supported anymore! I left them as Old Files to download for someone who don't want an All in One version. I haven an issue with snow on Dawnstar Boat Deck switching sides when I change the camera angle.
The snow texture on the large boat in Dawnstar covers about half of the boat deck. While I'm on the boat, the snow texture switches sides of the boat. so if I walk to one end of the boat and turn around, the snow moves to the opposite end. If I walk over to that end and turn around, the snow moves again! I've had it switch while I was standing on the dock next to the boat and just looking left and right across the desk. This all while in first person. I haven't tested in 3rd person.
Here is what the snow looks like one one side of the boat - ImageHere is what the snow looks like one the other side of the boat - ImageClick on the snow, is says it was last changed by NSUTR - ImageClick on the part of the deck without snow, it says it was last changed by the {Realistic Boat Bobbing} mod - ImageI have the RBB and NSUTR patch installed, so they *should* work together. RBB and NSUTR are the only 2 mods I can see touching that boat.
Yhe NSUtR patch only patches the rowboats from Morthal. I've never seen this. I had a patch to remove snow from the large ship. When i find that i will deliver.
Awesome. Is the technique to copy the snow into a patch file and set it to initially disabled? I've learned how to do that to get rid of the notorious floating lamps from Los II.
I wasn't what would make snow texture dance around like that. I've seen snow flash like strobe light , but not move around. heh.
I seem to have the same issue as the OP on the boat in Dawnstar. When standing still on the boat and with the boat slowly rocking back and forth, the snow cover on the boat planks moves (or rather is hidden partially by the rocking boat) from one side to the other -> see screenshots. I have installed the NSUtR and JK's Skyrim patch.
Any way to solve this?
-> I have just noticed that you released Snowy Ships for Snowy Regions. Would that solve the issue of the moving snow mesh/texture?
-> Update: I ended up deleting the moving .nif. And with Snowy Ships for Snowy Regions and Realistic Boat Bobbing and NSUTR patches, everything seems to look fine now.
I've read the description and I doubt this is possible, but I'm using 3DNPC (whatever you feel like calling it) and when checking a smashed patch there are some items like chairs in the worldspace that are given "Persistent" status by that mod. After looking at forums it looks like most things given "Persistent" in 3DNPC are because of quests that require them, like getting a quest if you sit in a chair or needing to have an NPC sit next to you in order to continue a quest, something like that. Unfortunately this mod disables them (I believe because they don't move properly according to your description?). Is there any solution to that or do I just need to choose one or the other?
So it turns out there are two records that conflict, a chair on a boat in Dawnstar and one in Windhelm (I just turned on the "hide no conflicts" option). Thanks for taking the time to look at this!
Ok. So 3DNPC uses those chairs for quests? I disabled those chairs due to clipping with boats. I can provide a patch but those chairs can clip again. Give me a few minutes.
When using the red wave mod, two boats (one from bobbing and the other one from red wave) appear and are clipping to each other in Cell -17,22 (base form id : 7D100003).
I am using the BOS version (don't know if that changes the issue).
Is it a matter of load order ? Or would that require a patch ?
Hey, great mod, I love the idea and it really adds immersion. I was just wondering why you did not set the "Initially Disabled" flag in the Realistic Boat Bobbing SE - DisabledRefs.esm but only set the boats to -30.000 Doesn't this just move them out of sight but they are still there?
Unbobbed the ship The Northern Maiden and it's clutter at Windhelm and Raven Rock. Due to clipping that is probably caused by NPC's idle markers for furniture they use. Check sticky why i decided the unbob the Northern Maiden. Issue is also present in LE version of Skyrim.
Well, esp replace specific boats, it possible to do same with bos and replace by ref. Just less worldedit conflicts (i have some, so im here). Probably also less patches. Im not super experienced, but might test it myself.
Used both in the past I *think* it works but I'm not sure I didn't stare at boats to check so I'm not entirely sure but if I didn't notice snow when summer on boats, it probably works
I'm getting crash to desktop with the main mod installed, latest version, as well as 8.1. 8.0 does not have this issue for me. I guess it has to do with the disabledrefs esm master. Any insight on why this could be?

Maybe 3DNPC just needs a patch. I dont use that mod btw.

But we did tried that a few months ago with the Row Boats. Problem was, row boats on land started to bob too.
I have no clue on how to do it. But if someone can, go ahead!!

I'm not sure if is just a texture or a mesh as well though..
Thanks for answering so quickly though!
