Doesn't seem to be working with the newest version of Skyrim.  Is there a conflict with the CC mods in the game?

I absolutely love this mod (when it was working, that is) since dragons are spawning like flies and I only use a few shouts.  I hope I can get it working again.

It seems to be working just fine for me. Do you use any other "stones" mods?

This doesnt seem to show up when using Ryn's standing stones which is a really popular great mod.
Is there any patch or way to have both?

Marked for death, Dragonrend, clear skies(very usefull in hardcore mods), Whirlwind Sprint, Fus Ro Dah, Elemental Fury, Slow Time and Ice Breath. Throw Voice is usefull if you're playing a sneaky boy. All the others are... meh

My problem is that in most of my playthroughs I want to roleplay as someone who is not Dragonborn. I resented this sucker punch from Todd all throughout Skyrim's lifespan. It's kinda like the portals in Oblivion. Sure the game is called Oblivion, but maybe I don't want to fight daedra in different worlds in this character's playthrough you know? And with shouts it's not even just about getting them, you do have to fight dragons to unlock them too, so if you were planning to ignore the dragons part of the story, tough luck.
This mod here is one of my all time favorite mods because it turns this useless game loop into a lore friendly, balanced alternative! Gonna reinstall it on my melee restoration warlock playthrough in survival.

@MetaSamsara this is the MOST clueless comment I've ever seen on this site, like...what's your problem? this is literally the same as playing the witcher 3 and not wanting to be a witch, not that NPCs call you a witch, not wanting to make signs, what's the logic in that? man, this is part of the game, the game's lore and is one of the main elements of the game, how come you just don't want to be a dragonborn willingly? how do you want to simply do the story of the game without becoming dragonborn?, which is how the developers designed it to be that way, I think the only way you don't want that is to have alternate life and after that just don't follow the game's campaign, that's the only way you'll get what you want, because simply wanting to spontaneously deny the concept of the game is really stupid.

Years later still using this mod.. still a great mod and best of its class out there. Love it when people do something right first try.

I seem to have a bug in which the Guardian stones are deleted when I installed this mod (Even uninstalling didn't return them to their original position).

Anyone know of a fix to this?

That's not related to this mod.

I can 2nd this ... it is NOT related to this mod as I have been using as a STAPLE in all games ....
      * Never had / have an issue with it!

This mod is simple and a must have in my book!

I have the same issue, but I think its a conflict with character creation overhaul.

No idea what happened during my current playthrough but the mod randomly broke, one moment it would let me exchange and next it wouldn't. Tried multiple reloads to no avail. Used it many times and this is a first for me.

Great mod!   I feel like if I've killed 10 dragons. I've earned another skill perk. :)

Works fine with GOG AE Edition. One comment, I feel it should be at Grey Beard's Fort, somewhere and bigger.

FYI to folks changing the soul cost.. there's 3 settings to change in console

    ishperkcost
    ishperkcost5
    ishperkcost10

These default to 10, 50, 100, respectively when mod is installed.

If you change the single-perk value, you can also change the 5 & 10 perk values to reflect it manually. This will let the dragonstone show 5 10 perk point options if you have enough souls.

EG: to change all costs to 1 soul for 1 perk point

    set ishperkcost to 1
    set ishperkcost5 to 5
    set ishperkcost10 to 10

If you have more then 10 dragon souls, when you click on the dragonstone you will have options to get None, 1, 5 or 10 perk points. This way you can speed up your conversion if you want to exchange a lot at once.

If you want to modify to more then 1 soul per perk point, then you just do the math... eg:

2 souls for 1 perk point

    set ishperkcost to 2
    set ishperkcost5 to 10
    set ishperkcost10 to 20

3 souls for 1 perk point

    set ishperkcost to 3
    set ishperkcost5 to 15
    set ishperkcost10 to 30

    .. and so on.

This mod is great, because it's not tracking a quest in the background, or constantly running a script. It only fires off when you activate the stone. So, it's lite weight and gets the job done.

    Great mod!

There's no need to change anything other than what the readme says to change. I would not recommend changing any other setting, 1) because fiddling with things you don't need to fiddle with is always a risk (though this is mostly a boilerplate disclaimer; I have exactly zero expectation that it would actually break anything) but more importantly 2) because any change you make to the other settings will not have any effect. It is pointless to set them to anything.

Just read the readme, it says exactly what to do.

It doesn't show up in MCM and there is not other way to adjust the numbers.

Sadly, i used dragon souls to buy a perk point and no perk point showed up.
