Patches Under Construction This is a list of the patches we're currently working on. To avoid duplication, let us know if you're working on a patch, and we'll add it to the list. Thanks!
With the release of the 4.0.0 update, the FOMOD installer and the loose patches are more or less synched up now. Going forward, my intention is to only add or update patches with a corresponding update to the installer.
Current Patch Priorities (No ETAs) - iNeed CACO patch: I've been looking into the waterskin issues with this patch (and with CACO and iNeed in general), but haven't made any significant progress at this time. - Katana Crafting WACCF & CCOR patches: I'm aware Katana Crafting has been updated and hope to update these patches in the near future. - Sons of Skyrim WACCF patch: I've started updating this, but as there are a lot of new armor pieces and I'm not familiar with Sons of Skyrim myself, it's not going to be a quick process. I've left the Sons of Skyrim (v1.5) patch in the Miscellaneous Files section, but elected not to include it in the recent installer updates. - Wounds CACO patch: I've been collecting feedback and suggestions from the comments and bug reports, but, as with Sons of Skyrim, I don't use Wounds myself, so it may take some time for me to sort things out.
WACCF, CCOR, and CACO patches are included here for Skyrim Extended Cut - Saints and Seducers, which should be used in place of any previous patches for Saints and Seducers (including our Saints and Seducers CACO patch, as well as the Saints and Seducer patches available from Creation Club - Misc Patches). No version of our Saints and Seducers TCIY patch should be used alongside Skyrim Extended Cut - Saints and Seducers.
Hello. Requires compatibility of “Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul” with survival mod “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)” v1.7 from May 20, 2023 4:02AM (updated April 27, 2024 4:46AM), https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/91719. This mod is very convenient. There is no need to disable the “Survival Mod” of the Creation Club and instead install “Frostfall” or something similar (other mods usually, on the contrary, make survival easier, this is bad). The two mods complement each other. It is convenient to supplement the game with increased cold and thirst. Therefore, there is no need to redo the entire list of mods. Therefore this mod seems promising. But it looks inconsistent with "Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul".
Its dependencies: “Campfire - Complete Camping System (Supports Skyrim VR)” from 28 October 2016 1:33AM, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/667 “iNeed - Food Water and Sleep” from October 28, 2016 4:41PM, version 1.83, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/645
Thus, the compatibility of leveled lists (are leveled lists formID lists?), campfire recipes, dividing food and components into portions is not clear (although there are two switches), new portioned foods maybe will not have satiety in “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)". It is not clear how “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)” will affect the patch scripts for “iNeed - Food Water and Sleep”. New recipes of food “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)" seem to be able to work without a patch (except for the situation with switches).
Good day! I am just wondering, during installation it asks which version of hunterborn I have installed (Hunterborn or Hunterborn MCM). I have both installed, does it matter which one I select? Thanks in advance :)
I've updated my patches. So, ConvenientHotMeals_CACO_Patch says needs CACO_Survival Mode_Patch. But the fomod says that I should install CACO + Survival Mode + USSEP, so the plugin name is different.
Thanks for the report. The FOMOD is wrong and we'll get that fixed in the next update. In the meantime, you can grab the correct file from the Misc section of the Files page.
Love the mod but I noticed that in the; CACO and Vigor - Combat Enhance patch, the Bandages that come from CACO (the ones with healing and resist disease) can only be applied to the head and arm when the other bandages (The ones from Vigor) can be applied to the head, arm, torso, and leg, essentially missing the torso and legs...
Is this an issue with my mods or was it a problem with the patch?
Looking at CACO and the Vigor patch in SSEEdit, that does appear to be the case. I'll see about getting torso and leg versions of the CACO bandages added to the patch for the next update. Thanks!
I'm confused on something about the CACO-Survival Mode-USSEP patch, a lot of the food added seems... weird ?
My character with no skill in cooking can craft broths (Brown Broth, Seafood Broth and Light Broth), and all of them seem to have way more ingredient requirements than any other food (comparing it stews that can be crafted as a novice cook, atleast) such as fire salts, and yet the broths have worse bonuses than the stews and worse gold value.
I'm not a big fan of the concept myself, but Survival Mode adds "Hot" versions of all the vanilla soups and stews which require Fire Salts to craft. The CACO Patch adds the same for all of its added soups and stews. If you're not seeing "vanilla" recipes requiring Fire Salts, you may have another mod disabling SM's "Hot" recipes (I disable them in my own game). With the next CACO update most of SM changes will be merged into the mod, and I expect this patch will become just a patch to add the additional CACO Hot soups and stews.
While you can consume the broths on their own, their point is as bases for higher levels soups and stews; hence the lower bonuses and gold values.
maybe im just a blind idiot, but loot is telling me i need a patch for ordinator for CCoR, and it sends me to the patch page, but every ordiantor link i click on just send me to ordinator...do i need a patch or not? and if so, where do i get it? i have CCoR 2.5.9 . ordinator is 9.31.0
On the file page, scroll down to Ordinator and download the "Ordinator _ WACCF_CCOR Patch". Alternatively use the main FOMOD patch installer to auto select all the patches you require.
first thank you for your response i originally asked what main file page you meant, then discovered i was an idiot - i originally thought the patch page was just an article (like lotd install guide) then discovered it wasnt, so thank you again!
I'm so glad you have this lovely patch hub up; it makes compatibility so much easier.
I would like to request a patch for CCOR & Become a Bard; I found that the instruments I craft will put the minor power to play said instrument in my magic menu, and can be "cast" but the chosen song will not play and the objective to play a song is not updated. (I also have WACCF installed but I suspect CCOR is the culprit of breaking the instrument).
I had a look and there's no conflicts between them that should be causing any issues. I suspect the issue may be with how Become a Bard is detecting an instrument being added to the player, which may require a script change.
If you wouldn't mind, could you please drop a crafted instrument and pick it up again, and see if that allows things to function normally?
Thanks for checking. I did some testing with WACCF, CCOR, and Become a Bard, and unfortunately I couldn't reproduce the issue; everything worked correctly for me.
Are you using BURP (Book Unity and Revamp Project)? From the Become a Bard comments, it sounds like there's a BURP Patch that doesn't play nicely with the current version of BaB and can cause this issue. Some other commenters there have apparently had Vortex not fully install BaB, resulting in this issue; manually downloading and installing appear to have fix it for them.
