FlowerGirls has not been updated in a long time, so this mod is still appropriate for the current version of FlowerGirls.

Perhaps you have a mod conflict? Perhaps you are using High Poly Head or some other mod that changes vanilla head parts?

Any chance of adding KS Hairs to the FlowerGirls SE Adventures add-on for Flower Girls SE? I know for a fact Arabella (Knifepoint Ridge Mine) is lacking a proper KS Hairdo... Thank you.

      Thanks for the feedback!

I am looking into creating a KSHair patch for the FlowerGirls SE Adventures addon for Flower Girls.

I added a new file in the Optional Files section that provides KS Hairdos for the two NPCs added by the FlowerGirls SE Adventures addon for Flower Girls.

The two NPCs are Arrabelle (prisoner in Knifepoint Mine) and Josefine (prisoner in Mistwatch North Tower).

No, VR is not a requirement.

The “VR” in the name of the Flower Girls mod indicates that Flower Girls supports both SE and VR.

This mod only changes the appearance of the Flower Girls NPCs. This mod does not change any behavior of the Flower Girls NPCs.

If I already have KS Hairdos SMP, would it be possible to "persuade" this mod to use the SMP versions instead? I am not averse to using NTFS symlinks or junctions to streamline it and avoid needless duplication.

Sorry, No, NPC hairstyles do not work like that. Each NPC's hairstyle is embedded within the NPC's head mesh NIF file.

There is another mod available that offers SMP hairstyles for the Flower Girls NPCs, Flower Girls NPC Overhaul (with optional Hair Physics).

Thank you for mentioning the other mod that I missed, which would seem to answer my intention. I lack the skillset to mess around with NIF files myself. Dirty Harry said that a man's got to know his limitations....

      Good news!

Immersive Wenches provides its own KS hairs patch, which I use myself and recommend!

Look in the Miscellaneous Files section of Immersive Wenches to find this patch:

      Immersive Wenches -KS hairs- Patch_SE (KS hairs 1.61f) - 04 Apr 2020, 4:54PM - Version 1.6.0SE
Patch so wenches can use KS hairs. ----REQUIRES KS hairs 1.61f---- -Requires Main File.-

I saw that Immersive Wenches provides its own KS hairs patch, but i don't want to keep KS hair loaded in my game. I spend too much time in Racemenu during gameplays, and i hate to have hair mods loaded there that i don't use ( i only use physics hairs on my char). And tons of hair ( ks+physics hairs) are too much to handle in RaceMenu. That's why i choose the vanilla version of the Immersive Wenches even if i hate the Skyrim's default hair. But with your awesome approach for modifying hair without conflicts and unnecessary extra mods, and also the hairs won't appear in racemenu, a patch made by You would be a no brainer for me. But I understand that your work would make the official patch almost superfluous also.
      Anyway, thank you for this.

Yes, exactly. I must be respectful of the work of other mod authors.

My policy is to create KSHair patches only for mods that do not provide their own.

Sorry for late reply ( never got a notif.). Thank you for your response. I understand, as I said, but I would still prefer your approach. I mean is over 700 hairs that would just take up space/resources/plugins + (the plugin from the Wenches patch-not ESL i think) without using them on my char. So I ended up using the SG 268 version for them, since it has "only" 268 hairs...I couldn't stand the vanilla hair. Bottom line, you are just doing these patches better. :) . Thank you again for your work.

Some FG girls have purple hair on them.
Not sure why it is like this, but I tried reinstalling the mod but to no avail.
I noticed there are some duplicates from ESM - are they needed really? maybe that's what causing me blue hair?

yeah, deleting everything under facetint/flowergirls se.esp/ dds and nifs fixed the issues for me.

Yes, the head meshes and face tint texture files are provided under both the .esp path and the .esm path. That is intentional, so that this mod works with any version of Flower Girls.

Here is what I said in the "Compatibility" section of this mod's description:

Version 2.0 of this mod is compatible with Flower Girls SE versions 1.x and 2.x. Flower Girls SE 1.x uses a .esp file, while Flower Girls SE 2.x uses a .esm file. Version 2.0 of this mod includes the NPC head meshes and face tint textures in both directory paths, to work with either the old or new versions of Flower Girls SE.

      Good to hear that.

Anyway, for anyone having purple hair issues, first try to remove .esp portion of dds/nifs (or simply hide in MO2), and see if it fixes it in your game
Not sure why I had that issue, but well, that's it.

Sorry, No, this mod will not work as-is for Skyrim LE.

I made this mod with the Skyrim SE Creation Kit, so the .esp file and the head meshes are all in the new format for Skyrim SE.

your mod is awesome and is the only hair replacer i can get to not show black face for the added Flowergirls but i cant seem to find a enmasse hair replacer for the masses of npc that doesnt interfere and cause black face while this is installed and with no ESP i cant do anything about the load order any advice?

      Thanks for the kind words!

This mod consists of loose files only, with no .esp file. Normally, loose files override everything else. The only exception to that is if you’re using the MO2 mod manager, because its virtual file system can reorder loose files.

Which enmasse hair replacer is conflicting with this mod? I can take a look at it and see what the conflict is.

Herowynne ANY vanilla hair replacer will conflict, because FlowerGirls SE.esm uses vanilla head part data for the hairs on girls. One of examples is Shiva's Vanilla Hair Replacer (which also will screw up any followers/npc replacers that don't use non vanilla Head Part data for new hairs in their facegens.)

consider making an ESPFE or ESL plugin, that will consist the Head Part Data (refering to the created folder hairs you consisted in your file so KS Hairdo's won't be a neccessary file)?

Thanks, Browzy, for the explanation. I understand that there would be a conflict between these mods.

Shiva’s Vanilla Hair Replacer SE provides its own patch for Flower Girls SE.

If you use Shiva’s Vanilla Hair Replacer, then you should use its patch for Flower Girls SE, and you should not use this mod.
