Crashes my game for some reason when I select any of the new eyes besides blind two in racemenu. Broken mod, uninstalled.

works fine for me, you must have a mod conflict or didnt install it correctly

Well. Here I am over a year later fixing a crash on a new skyrim build (how my life has changed XD) I had forgotten this mod had issues. Maybe converting the meshes through nif optimizer breaks one of them. Since the plugin is form 43 I assumed the meshes needed converting also. I'll try not converting the meshes.

      EDIT: All is good now.

This is one of my favourite mods on this site, because the Khajiit eyes just look so good.  However, I do have one issue with it.  I thought the mod was just for the PC for a long time because I only ever saw the glow on my character's eyes, but I just read it's supposed to apply to NPC Khajiit as well?  I can't figure out why it doesn't affect them.  Anyone have an answer?

Doesn't work out of the box as it's still set up for Oldrim for some reason, but you can convert it yourself and it works perfectly. Instructions on how to do that can be found in Katie's Beast Race Compendium: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/45654?tab=description

    Copy-pasted from that guide:

    Installing Creation Kit:

    • Download and install the Bethesda.net Launcher
    • Run the Launcher and sign in (create an account if you don’t have one)
    • In the left pane, expand options to show “All Games” via >>
    • Select “Creation Kit: Skyrim” and select “Install”
    • After installing, click on “Play”
    • Select “Yes” in the “Script Source Extraction” box
    • Close the program

    Custom ini:

    • Download this premade CreationKitCustom.ini here
    • Extract it to “steam\steamapps\common\skyrim special edition”
This ini sets up the CK to allow multiple masters and properly load DLC content

    SSE Creationkit Fixes:

How To Convert LE Form 43 Plugins to Form 44 in CK:

    • Run the CK (This can be added in MO2 as an executable too)
    • Once open, select the “File” menu and choose “Data”
    • Find the plugin to be converted and select “Set as Active File”
    • Click “OK” and allow the CK to load
    • Once Complete, save the plugin (File->Save)
    • Close the CK
    • The plugin is automatically saved over the older non-converted version

I get an error message while loading the plugin saying that it should have been converted offline. I ran the meshes through NIF Optimizer prior to attempting conversion. Is this why?

The only thing that needs conversion is the plugin, the meshes are already converted for you, you are doing extra work for nothing.

Thanks for the tip. Is this mod save to flag as ESL too?

Hello! Is it possible to make it work with Serval Khajiits?

Vortex tells me this mod was created for Oldrim--and every time I open Skyrim SE and try to make a character (I've just wiped everything clean and started from the beginning), the character has no eyes. I tried switching the races, but none of them have eyes. The game crashed the first two times when I switched to the orc race, so I tried deleting a few mods that changed them, and opening up the game again. It didn't fix the eyes problem, but at least it isn't crashing anymore.

I don't know whether vortex reading this mod as an oldrim one has anything to do with the eye glitch, but it's the only thing I can think of. Is anyone else having this problem? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm pretty new to modding and stuff.

I doubt anyone will ever read this ... but i've had to reinstall a clean version of skyrim and after i re installed this the glow effect is much dimmer than it was before .. any idea of why would that be ?

Edit: nevermind .. apparently the Sculpt feature from the RaceMenu screws with the eye glow .. ad to start a new game tho .. luckly i was at the beginning anyway

Would it be possible for this mod to have an XBox1 port?

I would love to port this if the author gave permission
