At last here is the SSE version of the Island Hobbit Home!

The only thing that did not make it through the transition from classic Skyrim is a bug jar display that I could not get to work, so its gone.
Everything else is as it was in the classic version and the description on the main page is accurate.
I hope you will enjoy this home and its many amenities and surprises :)
    Changelog:
    V-2.9.1
Changed the exterior stone through to another style that has collision.
Adjusted the ground around the exterior through.
re-positioned the smithing station so hopefully player won't get stuck.
Added some idle markers for followers around the back yard.
Had to move the chest by the smithing station, if you had stuff in it is best to remove it before updating to be on the safe side.

I created a patch for this over on the RWT Patch Hub.

    @Kursan
During making the patch I found you have at least one record in this mod that has been deleted (the water that was under the bridge). This may have been a miss, but in case not, you shouldn't ever delete vanilla objects. Just set them to "Initially Disabled". This should be resulting in at least one UDR in this mod. I didn't run it through xEdit to see if there were more.

This is an absolutely stellar mod Kursan and home to myself and my followers now.  The best of the best hobbit homes in Skyrim in every way.  And, most importantly, lore-of the Rings-friendly!

This home is not compatible with the newest version of Realistic Water Two unfortunately. There's a large black hole in the water next to the house that you can just run through.

I tried to patch it myself, I have no experience with SSEdit, but no luck. This is what I tried.

Am I in the right place or is there something else I need to edit?

This mod really warmed my heart man, thank you so much. I've been going through a rough time and binge watching LOTR for self-therapy, this mods really gives me a little cozy place to just escape the world.

    Thanks again Filbo Haggins :)

By far the nicest and coziest home mod I've yet to come across, and I have a lot installed! It would be my main base if it was a tiny bit bigger/had the smithing stations inside, however the outside is stunning and everything is so beautiful that it's worth the risk to occasionally be accosted by bandits! Just wanted to share my thanks for such a beautiful mod, and also my admiration at the fact it seems like every single object is mostly original to the game/I can see it in CK. It's incredibly impressive what you've done with just the basic meshes! If I ever get any better at CK, I might try and make the hobbit house a bit larger (entirely circular/oval? And shove it in a mountainside...if you're ever looking for ideas for a new mod, feel free to take that idea lol

Thank you for your heart warming comments, it really means allot to me looking over the most recent posts that this mod got such heart felt recognition, because of all my mods it has special significance to me and I am glad to share it with you all.
I may "revisit" it yet again and finish some final plans I had for it.  I like your idea but that may have to be another mod :)
I have not modded in awhile and have to feel my way back to it to finish the plans for this mod.

I've used this since vanilla Skyrim. I absolutely love it. Starting another game after a bit and this is the first mod I looked for lol. A little disappointed about no child rooms for adopting but still amazing. Thanks for this mod.

Thank you this is really nice to know. I don't want to get your hopes up since I have not modded in some time, but I started on an adoption friendly version some time ago and I hope to see it done one day in the not too distant future.

For those like me who are having trouble finding it, It's right across from Faldar's Tooth and has a Farm Marker.

    "A Hidden Gem"
I came upon this beautiful mod whilst following Febrith Darkstar's Channel on you tube.
(Check her out). She saves you the "Grind" of searching for Great House Mods on Skyrim SE/AE.
Discovered your fantastic House late last night and downloaded it immediately :-)
    Wow !!! Sublime.
The Exterior Location is one of my favourites (Peaceful and Very Beautiful)
And the interior is sooo relaxing.
So,many many thanks for your wonderful work.
    Obviously Endorsed :-)
