Dark Crusader Weapons

First:

This is a port of four different mods to Skyrim Special Edition based on the work of Angilla with permission from the original author.

Original Mods:
DCR - Blade Set
DCR - Blade Set Reloaded
DCR - Heavy Weapons Set
DCR - Shadow Buckler

Note: I don't accept any kind of donations. Furthermore I will not take part on the mod authors donation system in any way. Any earned donation points for all
my ported mods go to the original mod authors to 100 percent. When you feel you should donate, please give some money to the animal shelter next to you.
Of course you can donate the original author when you find a donate-button on the original page. Let modding be free. Forever.

Description:

This mod is a merged version of the mods named above and adds in summary 40 new items to the game:
6 versions of shields, 4 defender daggers, 2 battleaxes, 2 warhammers, 6 claymores, 2 daggers, 9 greatswords and 9 swords.

Most Weapons have the option of the Consuming Fire Enchant. Consuming Fire is a custom enchant for this mod and was based of the Dawnbreaker Enchant. Three swords come with an option of being engraved or not.
Battleaxe, War Hammers and the Holy Swords come with a new enchant: Breath Of Righteousness. Enchant activates at 50% or less health, and requires a power attack.

This mod is completely standalone. No other items of the original game will be overwritten.

The meshes are optimized with Nif-Optimizer. Textures in 2K.

The weapons can be crafted and tempered. Compared to the original mod I adjusted the receipts and added the missed ones.

For crafting you will need the crafting perk: EBONY

Compared to the original mods I changed the names of the items. Every name will start with "Dark Crusader" now.

When you are in game you can type into the console: help "Dark Crusader". All items added by this mod should be listed now.

Note: When you have installed the mod DCR - King Crusader Mega Pack by Angilla (what I highly recommend), you will be asked to overwrite some files during the installation when you use loose files from both mods. These files are identical. You can overwrite or not. It doesn't matter. As well as the load order with this mod doesn't matter. You can use this mod with or without the mod DCR - King Crusader Mega Pack.

There are two versions available:

Crafting-Only-Version:
The items are not added to levelled lists and obtainable via crafting only.

Levelled-Lists-Version:
The items are added to merchants levelled lists. You have a chance to buy all the items from merchants after reaching level 30, respectively level 35 for items with the consuming fire enchant and level 40 for items with the Breath Of Righteousness enchant.
IMPORTANT: Don't forget to make a Bashed Patch if you use the levelled-lists version.

If you need help making a Bashed Patch look here: Wrye Bash Installation and Bash Patch Tutorial or S.T.E.P. Project Wiki - Bashed Patch.

The mod comes with a FOMOD-installer. You can choose:
- BSA or Loose Files
- Levelled lists support or not
- English or German language

The esp is cleaned, hand-polished and checked for errors in TES5Edit.

How to install ?

Use Mod Organizer 2 (recommended) or Nexus Mod Manager and choose your options from the FOMOD-installer.

Wrye Bash does not support FOMOD-installers. As a WB user you will probably know how to handle FOMOD's.
One possibility that I know is to use MO2 or NMM to pick your poison and repack the result as 7zip-file. After that you can install the new created archive in WB.

If using manual installation (not recommended) unpack the archive somewhere and choose one of the 2 core folders and one of the 4 ESP's.
Then put the content of the choosen folders in your data-folder.

Requirements:

Skyrim Special Edition

Known Issues:

Some weapons look larger when sheathed than they do when drawn. I have no idea why. Let me know please, if you have a solution.
