About this mod

Mesh replacer for the Longhouse. Available as a normal mesh replacer (no plugin / ESP) or as a Base Object Swapper mod for maximum variety.

I wanted to make the four longhouses present in the base game a bit more distinct, both from the regular farmhouses and from one another. To do this I decided to change the roof from thatch to tile and also to change the groundfloor walls from wood to stone (except for Falkreath). This makes the longhouses more defensible and less flammable, both things I believe the prominent figures occupying these buildings would appreciate.

The overall "footprint" and "silhouette" remain mostly unchanged, so the visual difference is not that extreme. This is to make it as compatible as possible with vanilla path finding and AI. The same-as-vanilla footprint ensures no navmesh issues are caused. Whilst the overall vanilla-esque structure/silhouette ensures compatibility with things like dragon AI, where there are nodes placed in very specific areas (not part of the mesh) on the roofs for dragons to land, and the vanilla-esque structure ensures dragons do not clip through or hover above the building when landing at these nodes.

Interior meshes have also been edited to match the textures of the various external meshes.  
New collisions were generated for the external meshes to better match the new shapes.
For the parallax versions, all meshes both exterior and interior are parallax enabled.
All meshes use vanilla texture paths and are thus compatible with any retexture of your choice.

Base Object Swapper versions:
The BOS versions add variety by ensuring the roof tile and stone wall textures differ for all four variants. Interior meshes are also swopped to match the exterior buildings. The plugins are flagged as ESL.

Mesh Replacer versions:
The replacer versions are for those who would like to forgo the BOS requirement and/or would like to not add another plugin to their list. This version replaces the farmlonghouse01 and appropriate interior meshes with the meshes featured in the "Falkreath" images. I chose this version as I feel it is the most fitting "all in one" replacer. 

Optional Files:
UCL - FYX Patch(s) - Incorporates the interior longhouse meshes from FYX - Jarl Longhouse - Consistent interior. Have the patch files overwrite the main files.  Special thanks to Yuril for giving me permission to make use of their assets.

Requirements (For the BOS versions only):
Base Object Swapper for SE and AE
Backported Extended ESL Support for game versions 1.5.97, 1.6.659, and anything in between (Not required for VR)
Base Object Swapper VR for Skyrim VR
Skyrim VR ESL Support for Skyrim VR

Note: I've decided to add Skyrim VR ESL Support and Backported Extended ESL Support as requirements for my mods (the ones that require plugins) going forward. I have negated these requirements in the past by manually editing my plugins to have them conform to pre V1.6.1130 ESL requirements. This is a tedious process though, and I feel the required mods are essential to any mod list that is not setup for the most recent AE version.     

Compatibility:
As these are only mesh replacers/swops the mod is compatible with pretty much anything. 
That said, town and city overhauls like JK's Skyrim, whilst compatible, might seem a bit odd along with my mod. JK specifically adds various thatched canopies to the longhouses that seem slightly out of place alongside the tiled roofs of the main building.
Compatible with Stairs Of Safety as I do not alter the stair meshes with my mod. 
It is safe to overwrite Simplicity Of Snow with the replacer version of my mod.
Lux - My meshes are not "cut" like the ones from Lux, but I use Lux along side Community Shaders and Light Limit Fix and have not noticed any issues yet.
Seasons Of Skyrim remains untested at this time as I do not use it myself. Any feedback regarding compatibility would be appreciated.

Installation:
Use only one main file.
Use your preferred mod manager to install as per normal.
Give priority to Optional Files.
