works for me and they look great but I understand now why most vampire eyes were made dark by modders while on my character they look white and great, on npcs in volkihar the white part looks all yellow maybe from reflecting torches or something but anyway the yellow is very visible so I ended up going with the black version which looks great I uploaded a picture waiting for acceptance of vampire khajit argonian and orc plus my breton at the end, the khajit looks ok as vampire orc looks great argonian ? kind of goofy to be honest lol maybe if I opened her jaw to show teeth it would look better but anyway the eyes work and the glow options are something I haven's seen elsewhere and it works great I only tried 2x and 5x and you can see the difference edit : the beast race esp is mergeable in a bashed patch fyi so it won't take an esp slot if you use wry bash
Thank you so much. The images are beautiful. The issue with the white eyes on other vampires is that the game doesn't automatically generate facegen data for them based on your mods. The yellow is from the game's default vampire eye glow. The facegen data is based on vanilla meshes or created by vampire / follower overhaul mods. I can't include facegen data for them because everyone's mod setup is different and incompatible facegen data creates the black face bug.
Here's a fix if you want to give it a try. Load Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm and any other mod which modifies vampires in the creation kit (To do this, open up the Creation Kit, go to File>>Data and select all required plugins. If any errors pop up, click Yes to All). Expand the Actors section in the object window. Select all the vampires by holding the Ctrl button on your keyboard and left-clicking on them, one by one. Press Ctrl+F4. This should regenerate facegen data for all NPCs and set whatever glow option you've selected in my mod as the default glow. This works for all other vampire eye mods as well.
So I had these eyes for awhile now, I downloaded a follower with glowing eyes and now this mod isn't working. I deleted the follower and purged all the files and this mod still doesn't work. And I need it for my play through ðŸ˜
Hello, excuse me, I was wondering where you got that detail with the black critters floating in the iris from. I saw that detail at only one other place dealing with vampires, and thought it was unique until I saw your vampire eyes. Is that from some well known media or mythology?
Hi, I don't believe I've read any mythology with vampires with those eyes. As far as I know, it's an original idea. It just came to me one day. I'd be very interested in knowing where you came upon the same detail being used.
will this work with serana reimagined? if not is there a chance of a compatibility patch because i like both of these mods however the serana mod seems to have its own eyes. (they're boring)
It seems that when you have CBBE installed females wont get the eyes at all, not even the face changes like its supposed to after the transformation into a vampire, males are unaffected and show properly.
