I've downloaded USLEEP, installed it and followed by your Japanese mod. I am using Vortex Manager. I set the Management Rule to prioritize USLEEP first, followed by your Japanese Mod. It doesn't work. I tried reversing that Management Rule, it still doesn't work. I tried uninstalling USLEEP and keep your Japanese Mod, it doesn't work. I'm using Alternate-Start, Live Another Life Mod and tried starting with the vanilla start, it still doesn't work (assuming the vanilla start is also changed by your mod). I've also checked my loadorder file but it's the same as what the USLEEP demands it to be.
If it works for some, then I think the first problem is in the instructions. I had to translate it to English via Chrome's automatic translation option, but I'm afraid it may cause some translation errors. Maybe you can try setting up a concise instruction? Next, there were mentions of using this FOMOD installer, but then again, you'd only see it if you translate the Japanese text in the description tab. Would you be able to provide a detailed instruction for this? Do we have to use a specific mod manager only?
I'm already at recovering the horn of Jurgen Windcaller, so maybe in my next playthrough I'll try figuring out how to make this mod work through experimentation. If all else fails, then I have to buy the special edition on Steam and use the settings-change route that is easier. :( sucks that I can't use this mod though, but at least it helped me find the USLEEP which boosted my game.
because mine not working(non steam)
I'm wondering if you can say your solutions so that I can fix this? Im playing from a non steam version of LE due to some mods crashing with steam workshop mods so I play a different LE for nexus, all the solutions I see are mostly changing languages from the steam version, I don't want to use the steam LE for nexus mods so, just wondering if you can help?
BTW, USSEP replaces only a small portion of the game's voices. Did you follow tktk's instructions and localize the game to Japanese?
EDIT: Oops, you were talking about Skyrim LE, did you install the Japanese version from Steam and replace Skyrim exe with the English version? (I haven't played it for a while, so I'm not sure, but I think this was the correct way to convert the game to Japanese)
If it is Japanese, install this mod from the mod manager, check ESPs and Voices in the installation options, and overwrite everything. This mod contains all the USLEEP files that have been converted to Japanese.
If your game language is not Japanese such as English, and you want to enjoy Japanese voices, uncheck ESPs in the installation options, check Voices, and overwrite all audio files only.
Though will you do more Japanese voice edits? I know of several other mods which uses spliced English voices that could definitely use your attention, especially Cutting Room Floor & BUVARP - Barely Used Vanilla Actors Recycle Project.
The Japanese voice of LAL is here Alternate Start - Japanese Voice Patch
But at the moment there are no plans for other mods, sorry.
Since CRF contains only one custom voice, you should be able to play with Japanese "Skyrim - Voices.bsa".
I am also interested in BUVARP, but probably it will be very difficult to create Japanese voices. In the Japanese edition, most of the voices of the cut contents is not dubbed in Japanese, so we have to splice a lot of words to make up a sentence, so be just not realistic.
