OMG thank you for this mod, it fits perfect in my Dark Atmosphere Gameplay and feels like a new Skyrim. Every song title underscores smoothly the correct situation to me. Ive been waiting so long for a new experience like that. TYVM
Okay so I'm having a bit of a strange problem. For some reason, the game is having a hard time finding out what music is appropriate where, for example, when I entered a dungeon, tavern music started playing and standing around the college of winterhold, a mix of skellige and dungeon music is playing. Is there a fix for this?? I love the idea of this mod, coming from TW3MO, its nice to have the music implemented a little more like the actual witcher game.
What dungeon were you in? Do you use any other mods that edit music files or records? Do check of the default music track around the CoW has been changed by a mod you use. That could be the problem.
I only edited vanilla music track lists, and edited existing music tracks (mainly combat) to play more intelligently. There have been no structural changes to the dungeon tracks. So this is either a very weird conflict or skyrim itself decided to crap in its pants.
Admittedly the strange tavern music in dungeon was in Falskaar, so I don't really blame the mod on that account.
For sound, I'm only using Reverb, Sounds of Skyrim and Immersive Sound Compendium, and I discovered that dungeon music also just plays randomly around skyrim sometimes. Could it be SOS? Its very probably my skyrim has just decided to have a fit, though.
from the page: SCM does not alter existing MusicType forms, which is why it is compatible with pretty much any music or sound effect mod you can find. I do not use SCM myself but this little line makes me think it should work.
Hello you said to download the skyrim high quality music thiny, but i can only see the SEE version of it, do i really need it ? or the other mods that u said or i can just like download it ? cause when im downloading it it says it ran into a proplem when using NM EDIT : im gonna try to manualy download it now. and hope it works xD
DISABLE if you plan on doing the Civil War. I can't speak for the original version, all I can say is that the Combat Music only version that I made was causing some music bugs after doing certain civil war battles (The Battle for Whiterun and Windhelm in particular). Disabling the mod, loading the problem save, saving, then reinstalling the mod fixed the problem even after it occurred.
The full version apparently has this problem as well. The combat tracks for the civil war are not supposed to have any conditions applied to them. Somewhere during copying records, those conditions stayed and as such the tracks will not always play. I've removed those conditions.
If you want to do it yourself I highly suggest using the creation kit and unticking the "Has Conditions" box on the MusCombat02CW2, MusCombat03CW2 and MusCombat09CW2 records. Then your problem will be fixed.
