    Sticky
Please note this is manual only. Read the description for instructions. I have also included a ReadMe .txt in the file.
The New Merged file should work fine now. I had an
incomplete file added that was causing issues in my game anyway. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Hey Blessing, thankls for the mod. At first I wondered "Why are they empty and no furniture?" Then I read your posts and downloaded the ones necessary to fill those suckers up, and make homes elsewhere. Kudos to you Blessing and thanks for the  mod! There may be hope after b&@*$-slapping Hearthfire yet.....LOL

Blessing, first allow me to say I love your mod. I use HCAD and with that and some console commands I am able to decorate the houses quite nicely. My current play-through is as a fence for the Thieves' Guild and I move around a lot. I always have a place to stay. With Hunterborn and Trade & Barter I am richer than I've ever been!

But today I ran into a problem with Maison De La Rosette. Every time I try to enter it crashes my game. (I had previously had no problems) I've tried all the usual fixes, deleting my app cache, verifying files, cleaning masters, re-sorting with LOOT and finally deleting Maison's esp and replacing it with another copy. Nothing is working. I wondered if you had any ideas. I can do without one house, certainly--but it bugs me that I can't fix it. I've tested the other houses and they work fine.

(Also, hope your kidney stones have not returned. I'm scheduled for surgery next month for mine!)

I'm sorry I haven't answered sooner. I'm not sure unless it somehow conflicts with the location itself via another mod. I have it on my game too but it seems OK. Do you have another mod that uses that area? Perhaps even a landscaping mod that changes the area itself. I'll pray for you concerning your Kidney stones I know it's not fun.

Great. I really like the idea. Just do not know why my companions in the house will not take home-clothing. It would not adjust? Thank you very much.
    Sorry for my english...

That maybe a mod conflict from something else. My mod is just houses so I don't think it has anything to do with mine. If you are using a mod that dresses companions it might not know where they are, maybe???? The houses are empty so the navmeshing does not know where you will put your furniture;therefore, it will not be perfect. Still I've used it with followers and they move about OK, as long as something is not in the middle of the room. Thanks.

Just started a new play (using Skyrim Unbound for a quick start) and decided to install and take a look at most of the houses again in the merged file. So many great places it is hard to know where to focus! Perhaps all of them, a kind of new "quest" building all of them up.

I'm using Frostfall and RND. Those places with fireplaces warm me up immediately. And many houses are near water for drinking with RND. Pretty nice.

Jumped around to most of the houses. Several need fireplaces, wonder if it's easier to add them with the CK or one of the recommended tools?

A glitch or two. Like the house near Riften with an outside chimney but no interior fireplace. And the round tower-like place SE of Windhelm near the Imperial camp; it has a stray door standing nearby in the open.

I can see decorating all of these, and many are certainly large enough for followers.

It may even be possible to move a spouse and two kids into these houses using the Custom Family Home mod. I've used that mod in the past to move Lucia, my Steward and Bard from Heljarchen Hall into a mod house. If that should work, you can add it to your list of additional mods.

      Thanks,
You can add fireplaces or firepits using HCAD by Carlzilla.
The chimney I was not aware of but you can add one again using HCAD.
Just markfordelete and disable the door via console. I don't want to touch this for awhile.
I don't know anything about CFH but you might try it, you can get followers but I don't know about families.
      -Thanks again for the imput!

Thank you! This is an absolutely outstanding mod.

I've been searching for something like this for a long time to have easily customizable homes/retreats/safe-houses/storehouses for various characters and npc's. Great job!

Thank you for combining all of your houses into one file. I use a lot of mods at once and this reduces the overall count. While I might differ on the specifics, I totally agree with you about player house mods that are overdone. At some point, it stops being a home and becomes a museum -- and that is not what I want.

Saw your comment about the ER. Hope you are OK.

Thanks. I'm fine. It seems I had a kidney stone....yea.
I just felt like since I was looking for empty houses, someone else might be too.
      Hope you enjoy

    Here are some mods you can use to decorate these houses;

Jaxonz Postioner, used to copy/paste/place/move/adjust pretty much any object in the game (required for almost all of the following mods).
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52583/?

Woodcutter, a tree-chopping/crafting/building/decorating mod. Still in beta, but a massive and immersive framework.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68597/?

FPI Gallery, adds thousands of new assets to copy with Jaxonz and place in your house to decorate (ignore the console code business, this was created prior to Jaxonz. Also, be sure to download the quickfix as well as the main file).
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43061/?

Live Anywhere: Constructible Shacks, in case you want to add a workshed/outhouse/etc. outside one of these houses. Also features some unique craftables, like a smaller smelter.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61752/?

House Decorations: Plants and Flowers, adds havoc-enabled potted plants.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10216/?

Home Construction and Decoration, I would stay away from the house building in this mod, because they auto-save each time you enter or exit, and some say that can cause issues. Otherwise, the mod adds some decorations not covered by other mods, including cows and chickens, that can be placed at the houses in this mod.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22791/?

Hearthcraft (requires Campfire), allows you to build furniture, crafting stations, and much more, and allows you to place them using the same framework that Campfire uses to place tents, campfires, cooking pots, etc. And you can fine tune placement with Jaxonz.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71371/?

Craftable Hearthfire Planters (also requires Campfire), allows you to craft and place planters, pots, etc. with Hearthfire fertile soils in them, allowing you to customize your plants. You can even craft and place fertile soils in the ground and make your own gardens. Uses the same placement system as Hearthcraft/Campfire, and are a little more difficult to fine tune with Jaxonz (have to move the planters AND the soils separately).
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73449/?

Spawnable Book Shelf, this is a newer mod that allows you to take normal shelves and turn them into book shelves that can also display potions, bug jars, dragon claws, etc. It apparently doesn't work correctly with Jaxonz (although I honestly didn't have any issues myself when doing so), but it has its own movement and placement system built in.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73647/?

Hearthfire Extended, primarily adds new amenities to Hearthfire homes including additional basement rooms, but also has a crafting framework for furniture you can build with sawn logs/nails etc. and then move and place with Jaxonz Positioner.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66783/?

There will be some redundancies in what you can craft with all these mods together (especially Woodcutter, Hearth Craft and Hearthfire Extended), but they are all compatible with each other, and more importantly, with these empty houses. There are other decoration mods out there as well, including a couple that allow you to create paintings.

Finally, I'd like to thank the author for compiling and releasing all these empty houses. I can't count the number of times mod users have requested an empty house mod, only to be met with derision by mod authors who gruffly reply "It's not worth my time, you can do it yourself". Well, if we could do it ourselves, we wouldn't have ever asked, now would we? Anyway, I really appreciate all these empty houses, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Thanks for this mod, I've yet to explore all the houses but what I've seen so far is great.

    2 very minor things:
Is it possible to have the dwellings marked on the map but unexplored instead of explored.
At the risk of being a grammar control freak, I think 'Maison del la Rosette' should read 'Maison de la Rosette' instead.

    Tracked and endorsed.

      1. I could make a seperate file for those that want unexplored. We'll see.
      2. Yeah, I should change it but its such a bother. We''ll pretend its a new language, Sprench!

Thank you! Great Work, I absolutely love those houses.
They are a little dark inside though. I downloaded "Lanterns and Candles" by Mentilreq as you suggested but when i plant the candles, the houses seem to have problems how to deal with the light sources, so they switch kinda on and of as you move the camera. Dont know weather this is a Problem with the houses or the candle mod - though on other places the candles seem to work fine for me O__o?
Have you other suggestions to light up the houses?

On the other hand, the light source in the middle of the Everman's Hideaway cave seems almost blinding bright. On 12Pm I can barely see anything. (I dont use ENBs)

PS: I would love to have an all in one esp too. These homes are all so lovely i cant decide wich i like best...

    sry for my shitty english.

Thank you. The lighting issue is unavoidable unfortunately, because in some circumstances, any lighting you add will cause a flicker effect.
I don't use ENB's either but I simply used the vanilla lighting except in the case of Jacoby's Rill. Shouldn't be too terrible perhaps you use a lighting mod that could be causing a problem? I use ELFX, but it should be compatible with anything. I have placed a merged file .esp that includes all of the homes in the Optional section, you might try that.

Thank you so much for the merged file, I didnt see you already made one Having all these lovely abandoned houses on the map makes the skyrim world so much more believeable for me.

I didnt use any lightning mods before and installed ELFX after reading your reply. It fixed all lightning problems in the houses for me.
Tank you for the quick reply it helped a lot.

once again sry for my shitty english

Great ! Still fine having a merged file. I love more and more decorate my homes myself. That's there are some abandonned houses and places around Skyrim is just fine and seems realistic to me.

Great thanks for sharing these nice possible new homes !
