    Version 2.5 is Out!

    What's New?
    *************

    - Toolboxes have been combined into a single drafting table that appears after you clean out the cave (cleaning out the first room now cleans out both parts of the cave). Building the decoration switch removes the drafting table permanently, so make sure to build that last. After it disappears, you will be stuck in the "read plans"-animation. Simply hit jump to cancel it.

    - Shrine of Azura was not working. It now does.

    - The trigger for changing the shrines on the left side (where shrine of Julianos initially appears) has been made bigger and easier to click

    - Cold Storage in pantry is now called "lower pantry storage".

New game is probably needed, as it changes the fundamentals of building the home. After this release, very little else - if any - will be added or changed (except bugs). So this home is "done", as of now.

    Cheers.

    Version 2.4 is Out!

    What's New?
    *************

    - Added a master-switch that turns most decorative options on or off. This way, there will be less switches to accidentally hit when you've found a style you like. Lights and shrine-switching is still active in the "off" mode. Building this switch costs nothing, but build it last. You may need to start with a fresh save to see it, since it only appears when the home is about to be built. You can also try to go into another location, hard save, logout, uninstall the mod, login, save again, log out, install the latest version, and rebuild the home again using the cheat chest.

I have added a picture in the image gallery that shows where the bucket is.

    - Also, added a little custom backpack-bedroll-clutter-thing in the wardrobe.

    Version 2.3b is out!

    What's New?
    ********************

Re-named the bsa and esp to the old name, since the new-named bsa/esp caused crashes for SE. Don't know if it is related, but for safety, I changed it back to what it was. If you started building this cave in the last week or so, you may need to rebuild it using a cheat-chest. Really old saves should work, though I highly discourage using them, as new stuff may not load correctly.

Sorry about that. Use the cheat-chest behind the garden wall if you feel justified.

Also fixed the dreamcatcher rope so it correctly hangs from a hook. Also added a new light source at the enchanting/alchemy station that is unlocked when building the enchanting station. This area always looked a bit too dark for me, but there was flickering introduced when I last tried to add a light-source. For whatever reason, this light-source seems to work just fine, which is great.

I also updated the little candle at the enchanting station. It now has a glass-domed hood to protect the shelf from the flame. It's just decorative fluff, but I thought it made sense.

    Version 2.3 is out!

    What's New?
    *************

    - Tuned the colors of a lot of textiles and replaced one pattern-texture I didn't like with a more rugged, simpler lined fabric.

    - The chair near the enchanting station will now play an animation of the player reading a book when sitting in it. The pillow-seat near the open fire will also play this animation. The stool in the kitchen will do a "drinking beer" animation, as will the pillow-seat near the hanging lantern. The middle pillow-seat will not have any animation, so you get a nice spread of different animations. The smelter now also plays an appropriate stirring-the-cauldron animation.

    - Made most activators significantly bigger and easier to click on. This was much needed.

    - Replaced frostsalt with 4 ice wraith teeth in the recipe for alchemy station. Also cut down the amount of glass overall from 4 to 2.

    - Added a little dreamcatcher in the bed-area that pulses in amber and green.

    Cheers!

    Version 2.2 is out!

    What's New?

I stripped many meshes off their collision because they didn't need them in the position they show up in the mod. This had the result of eliminating the high-lag area in the pantry, that used to slow my computer to a sub 1-frame. There is now only perhaps a 5 fps dip, if that.

I went back and checked that I had hooked up every workstation correctly, and I had. I suspect that people who had problem with building-stations not showing up, or nothing happening when clicking on them, was a result of the mod just being very taxing in general.

Now that it is much leaner on your hardware, things will hopefully work as they always should have.

Also added two more tracks to the music box (same as Hermit Cottage), and changed a few small meshes here and there that used a needless amount of ram (the bowl with grapes in the pantry took up 1.2 meg. It is now replaced with a cloth-covered jar that takes about 30kb.

Ideally, please start a fresh game and check if it works, and report back. Also note that one of the coffee/tea-pots are removed (because it's just ludicrous to have two models in the same home), and if you use an old save, you might end up with no pot at all, as I have removed the trigger for switching it back and forth. So keep this in mind.

    Update 2.1b is out!

    What's New?
    *****************

Small update that fixes one broken texture on a book in the bedroom. The light in the tunnel has been increased a bit (from 256 to 300) and the music box has gotten a much bigger trigger to help xbox-users.

It's an amazing home I absolutely love it and I hope to use it for my gameplay, one pet peeve of mine is that the treasure display only hold a few daedric artifact so I have no other place to put my other ones.

I very much liked your mod. In a different location it would be awesome as a starter home. Essentially somewhere between Helgen and Riverwood. I know a lot of other people have already flooded that region, but that is where I would use a house like this. As it is, it is still cool as a place to just get away for a bit. The only thing I would change is adding a chest near the work table for storing the materials to make the interior. Its a bit tough to carry all that on your character if you are planning a major build project. Well done!

For reasons unknown me, whenever this mod is in my list it destroys all possibility of even getting Skyrim SE to start. If it's included, the Skyrim process will literally stop and close off at roughly 15% complete in the rask manager menu, even with LOOT checking it and no conflicts or problems showing up, this kills the games process.

This is a really nice hideout mod and i wholeheardedly endorse it. 2 Problems i've come across are that the navmesh is pregenerated which means that it's quite bad. This causes NPCs to get stuck and teleport around (especialy between the main room and bedroom). Another issue is that the planters of the cave garden don't work with CACO. Their activator and refrence planter npc's use the mods own template instead of the hearthfires one meaning planting wont work with CACO installed because that mod adds some extra script propperties to the template hearthfires creates.

I've personaly fixed these errors on my version of the mod. The fertile soil adjustment isn't reliant on CACO either so the mod isn't needed.
If OrinLinwe gives premission i can give a link to my fixed esp.

I don't see how I made the planters any different than how I usually do them, which is just bog-standard Skyrim-tutorial-style.

Some users have complained though, so if you PM your edit, I can check it out, and maybe see what I've done wrong.

Navmesh is probably trash, and due to me not prioritizing followers. I will add it to the list of things to update.

This is one beautiful little hideout. My Vampire character is thankful that she can live in a cave with style ;) And all those CLUTTER *-* the music selection is great and the building aspect just gives you a great immersion boost.

A few minor things I stumbled over while building and exploring the cave. The wardrobe didn't dissapear from the building menu once i build it, the Ore and Ingot storage has two indicators (one is just under the other, the upper shows if the storage is empty the lower one doesn't) and the music box is a little bit quiet. I personally missed a wood chopping block and the entrance to the cave seems very near to a random encounter spawnpoint. Like I said nothing major and easy to ignore or replace yourself (i just put in a Wood chopping block with jaxonz positioner) but i thought mentioning it doesn't hurt.

Thank you for sharing your work with us !

Oh and a short edit for all those of you who aren't a fan of the empty treasure wall (if it is because you are staring a new playthrough or you just arn't a treasure hunter) I HIGHLY recommend jaxonz positioner with this you can just display and decorate what ever you want on the wall, your own weapons, shields maps etc.

Really nice. I decided to give this one a try. Looks really nice other than the plain treasure board is a little bit of eye sore compared to rest. But I haven;t been able to try other colors due to a bug I encountered.

If I try to build the display changer or whatever call it to finish off the place. Once the workstation disappears I am stuck standing there as if still at the workstation and I can't exit out of it no matter what I do. Help please? :( Currently only thing I know to do is go back to save before and not build it. I tried multiple times.

I'm excited about this. I have been looking for the perfect home for my werewolf. I feel like vampires/thieves/assassins get all the love but there are very few homes that fit a werewolf, away from society, without living like a pleb. LOL. After I try it out I will come back and endorse. Thanks for sharing!

Edit: This home is a gem! So glad I found it. Soo many things to click and adjust and play around with. And the music box plays Vinsvept...um, awesome? Is there any way to adjust the volume? In my game it's pretty quiet and the howling wind cave sound sound is more apparent than the music box.

    I wanna drink that coffee!

Question. What does the prepare sofa actually do? In my game it blinks to a different texture quickly and then reverts back. Also is the chest by the bed supposed to be static? I try to use it but I can only access the books.

Also can you toggle the colors of the wall? The bright red it...wow.

Never mind, I figured out I have to toggle things to change the look.

Thanks for a great little home mod. I've only used it for a day and it's already a favorite.Perfect for a thief or vampire build. Heck, I wouldn't mind living here i real life. :)
The decorating options I could take or leave, but I've always wanted a home with working lights, so I'm fan of those. Wasn't too keen on the big empty treasure storage panel, especially since I'm using Live another Life and don't plan on being the Dragonborn. Would you consider replacing the canvas texture with a big map of Skyrim/Tamriel, or allowing us to switch between the two?

Also, any possibility of a vampire version? With a coffin bed and small room for a thrall in place of the kitchen?

I did find one glitch in my game, in that the option to build the Wardrobe didn't dissapear from the workbench list after building it.
