thank you all so much for all your positive comments, I cant believe i made such a dumb mistake. I made some changes and it should work now. Thank you everyone who let me know this was happening. Please let me know if it doesn't as well as any other bugs you experience. Hope its more enjoyable now
Not sure if you regularly check these comments anymore... But I have to say that out of the hundred or so home mods I've tried since Skyrim's release this has probably become one of my favorites. It reminds me of Elianora's home mods a bit, who I'm fan of as well, but much more realistic. I can see a grad student from the College of Winterhold living here while they're doing field research in the nearby Dwemer ruins. Props to you for creativity and making use out of an otherwise dull inn (y)
Hello, first off, your mod is pretty good. I do however wanna report a sort of problem I'm experiencing. In the actual room of the apartment, some of the storage bins, are saying that they are owned already, and are red so that whatever i take out or put in there, I instantly get a bounty on my character. Even the 'books' are owned and result in the same scenario, even though the letters aren't red. Please let me know what you think, or if you're aware of this issue.
I really like your mod, but... it feels like cheating to me because the appartament is free xD I think adding a cost for the ownership of it will be more rewarding c: Maybe 1000 coins. Also, i dont like that the contaiers are layed as a stolen. But your mod is awsome, endorsed !
So just to confirm before I download Is the npc issue fixed Is it compatible with dawn of skyrim collection and taverns mod Is the cell set to player ownership and can my spouse move in? Looks great hope to download
Awesome! Looks great, just started using it. Only one issue with possible mod clash - I'm using Populated Cities Town Villages and there seem to be random npcs hanging out in my loft haha. I'll keep an eye out and see if they stay there for good or if they eventually leave
oh no! haha hopefully they leave. I might navmesh this soon so that might help keep other mod's NPCs out. Thanks for trying it out!!! hope you enjoy it
Looks great so far! Really dig the apartment, it's just so nice. The npcs did leave - or at least, they weren't there the last 2-3 times I went back. Anyway, enjoying it, so: endorsed
Update: came home to 7 npcs in my dwemer loft - 3 on the bench, 1 on the enchanting table, 1 sitting on my desk, 1 at the alchemy table and 1 cooking. I could be asking for too much, but something to keep unwanted npcs out would be cool. If not, still a fun mod
Oh no!! Okay, I'll look into it. Sorry that's happening. Is it only mod-added npcs or vanilla ones too? It's not important, just curious. I'll mess around with ownership stuff soon and see if that helps. Thanks for letting me know!! Glad you like it
Hm.. not sure why, but whenever I attempt to enter the Inn or load the save with the mod on it, it crashes. It shouldn't be conflicting with anything, there's nothing else that interacts with the Inn as far as I know.
Really disappointed because I was looking forward to a smaller, cozier Dwemer home...
impbones, do you have New Markarth Adventures (dwemerhome.esp) or Dawn of Markarth or Dawn of Skyrim Collection? In my load order only these mods have any conflicts with Markarth Loft. But it's weird, I checked all my load order in TES5Edit and didn't found any serious confilcts which can cause crashes. I tried to put this mod (Markarth Loft) down to the load order but it dind't help.
A quick review for those interested: Markarth Loft offers a unique and beautiful apartment seamlessly integrated into Markarth's Silver-Blood Inn's interior architecture. The layout is well done and very possibly inspired by a real loft's layout, as it offers you an intimate atmosphere rich in style and practicality.
Inside the loft you will find unique treasures such as clocks and many other Dwemer items. The clocks do no work, as the technology required to powered them was only known to Dwemers; these ancient artifacts now serve as a memento of an lost era. For some reason, every items inside have ownership thus you cannot take them - making it an apartment for rent instead of your own home. The apartment shares the same cell with Silver-Blood Inn, thus any NPC sandboxing will attempt to use the bed. Due to navmesh issue, however, any NPC that uses the bed will be stuck next to the bed as well, until the game resets the schedule. Your followers will not follow you into the apartment - they will wait for you downstairs instead.
Overall it is a nice apartment and another excellent addition to the already-rich world of Skyrim. I look forward to similar mods from the author. Thank you very much, Alfanzo!

I installed the latest version "Markarth Loft - Dwemer Apartment - OWNERSHIP FIX TEST" but found the following issues.
Sad really, this looked good. Apartments in Skyrim are so hard to find.
Even the 'books' are owned and result in the same scenario, even though the letters aren't red.

I love apartment mods, even better when they're in taverns because it feels a little seedy Would love to see more tavern apartments.

Sorry for my English.
