The way to make this toggled would be to do the editing not in the enbseries.ini but using the enbeffect.fx file. The enbseries.ini is really more for fine-tuning. The enbeffect.fx and the other shader files are really where the preset takes its form. I think you could probably get a look like this using some of prod80's shaders from Serenity ENB (probably Gen12.5, not ExtendedFX would be best) or, better yet, using Enhanced Night Eye for ENB. There are all sorts of customization options available for Night Eye using that mod and I wouldn't be surprised if you could get an effect very much like this from it. It might be worth a shot!

While the implementation is probably not the best, I say the idea is great. What I'd recommend is try installing Enhanced Night Eye for ENB in the default enbeffect.fx file, tweak the night eye parameters to get this kind of effect (I'm about 99% sure you could do it) and then release the enbeffect.fx.ini once you get it tweaked right as a preset for that particular effect. As far as I'm aware, there are NO ENEE presets. That way you actually get it as a toggled effect when you enable Night Eye and it works with, potentially, nearly all ENB presets... not all, but nearly.

Kudos for an original idea. Add me to the list of people who'd enjoy seeing this as a "night-eye" type deal if you can ever work that.

Yeah, I will think about it, thanks. But for now, I have other things to do. I will see this later. For now, enjoy the ENB.

That's a good idea, an argonian or maybe even khajit see heat. But this is not only heat, but also near infrared mixed. And near infrared is not heat, but act much as visible light. The only visible light thing here in my ENB are the colors. The rest is infrared.

Maybe there's a way to alternate custom ENBS in the ENB menu during the game. I just don't know how. If anyone could tell me how to do, I could make a new version of my mod, making this possible. But I don't know how to crate something like a power. I don't know game coding, sorry. Or if you can do this on your computer during the game, just alternate to this custom ENB, and if you don't want more, change to another. I think there's a menu you can do this. I did that because I do enjoy infrared photography and thermal imaging in high quality, so I thought I could make this in Skyrim. And I did... Almost.

You may be able to do something similar using a custom effect, reverse engineer the night vision ability in the creation kit and have a look at predator vision by gopher, he did that a long time ago but you may be able to construct a preset for it based on his mod.

This should be toggleable. Like infrared lens or something.

I agree, this would go very good as an Argonian racial power as some lizards, snake's and amphibian's have special heat sensitive area's that help them to detect prey such as warm blooded mammals and bird's, most use there tongues to detect pheromones though.

Interestingly Shark's detect electrical activity in potential prey.
