I looked it up, Aspartame is an artificial sweetener commonly used in diet soda that has had a terrible history of people claiming it has severe health risks, such as brain cancer, despite the fact that the FDA and other agencies, around the world, have done test after test after test and can confidently say that there is absolutely no health risk whatsoever. Unless you consume a LOT of it, or have Phenylketonuria (A deficiency in your ability to metabolize the amino acid, Phenylalanine), it's not going to cause you any health problems at all. In other words, we've got some tin foil hats in this comment thread. Why are people like this?
You could include a list of possible side effect. Example:

I'm offended by people who get offended and demand things from people just because they took the time to read something. Quit trying to kill my or any one else's freedom of speech. I demand that you think about what you're doing and realize that he has the right to say whatever the hell he wants just like you have the right to get offended by anything. It doesn't mean he has to apologize or listen to your demands. Grow up.
Though this was intended to be funny, I'm also dead serious. The side effects of Aspartame are no laughing matter. It is poison. That is my unbiased opinion.
I'm not sure I would download this, but thank-you for educating people about Aspartame - it is poison, and for anyone that deems this mod to simply be a joke, it isn't. Ignorance is a killer, so as I chew on my Aspartame-free gum, I urge you to research the ingredient if you're unaware of its implications not only in Skyrim, but in the real world.
Looks amazing on pictures. Too bad in game itself 95% of it is green and dont glow. Only label is there from original pictures and the color on the buttom of the bottle. I guess I did endorse too early. Unendorsing
(And I did test and tried to fix it many times before I untistaled it so dont say I dint try)
A replacer just for the regular mead would be easy to make (the author allows assets to be used I think, saw it in the comments somewhere) but that would mean that people using hunger/thirst mods would need to make patches.
