I don't know if you have the Dragonborn dlc, but if you do, there's a nice icy throne in it if you want to use that. Course that would make it dependent on Dragonborn, but again just a minor suggestion/tip. Looks really nice though. I always wanted to have a go at this a while back, but after moving and getting burned out from modding, I never even attempted it, and then just eventually forgot about it. Going to download it and can't wait to make my climb up there.
Yeah, i've seen that throne, but it is actually just a static mesh, you are unable to sit on it. I also thought about changing the texture of the throne to the ice one, but it seems to be impossible to do with CK only, aswell as making something completley invisible (thought about making th e throne from ice completley and then hiding something to sit on in the ice)
I mean, it would be pretty easy to recolor the throne with GIMP or something. I'd offer to do it for you, but I don't know how to make standalone recolors yet :/
can you add a little player home on the top ? . i dont know if there is but i didnt find any custom player home for that area ... it would be a good idea i think .
There is a lot of information including lod generation on this mod page by NixNodes http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36458/? He recreated a few thousand square miles of a real national park with real height map data and only it's huge size as a mod at nearly two gig for the complete download has prohibited people from downloading and endorsing or using it to add there own factions and total world conversions that would run in parallel instead of replacing tamriel as it occupies it's own world space like falskaar. Great source of information though and if you wanted to recreate world of warcraft it offers a more or less clean sheet but remember that HUGE download.
There is a partial recreation of the world of warcraft here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18795/? and some armor's also here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7123/? And here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7114/?
As one of the biggest MMO's of all time there are probably more on the nexus and elsewhere but as far as I can tell you are the only one to create a frozen throne though I seem to remember arthas weapons used to be on the nexus from the world of warcraft RTS games still here is his armor http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12259/?
Best of luck with your modding and you are already becoming more familiar with the creation kit than I am.
