I have the same problem. Missing textures. Is it because the newest Inconsequential NPCs version is 1.9, not 1.8? I even copied the hair textures from TK Children to this mod, but it didn't help. Also, the TK Children patch for ETAC is no longer in the patch FOMOD installer.
Problem solved. This patch is for TK Children 1.0 and the texture paths for the meshes are not the same in TK Children 2.0. Furthermore some textures are no longer in TK Children 2.0. You will have blue hair and shiny faces in your game. Create the right paths and put the textures (1.0) in these paths. Missing textures : 2 hair textures and 1 face texture.
There are the right paths with textures 1.0, just in case : Data\textures\actors\character\hair\tkhairlong Data\textures\actors\character\hair\tkhairlong_n Data\textures\actors\character\TKChildren\headhuman_n
Problem is the same with Interesting NPCs patch because these paths are set in 3D models (at lines "BSShaderTextureSet" when you use NifSkope). Sorry for my bad English. Good game.
I've been having the blue hair problem with TK Children & 3DPC for years and you've just fixed it for me. Why could I not find this in 2017 instead of 2021? Whatever, I will gladly take it now. Thank you!

I wish someone would make a new patch for TK Children / ETaC... since there doesn't seem to be an updated patch for those anywhere anymore... unless I'm missing something somewhere?... ;-;
Populated Towns and cities adds the ugly kids but no longer on nexus it's found here >> http://erkeilmods.altervista.org/skyrim/populated-cities-towns-villages-rs-relliosavini/. Patch for those potatoes would be nice lol.

EDIT: Just realized the top line of the description was probably written after your comment here. I'd put the information you have in the description in the sticky of this thread as well. You have this comment still on the first page of your mod that points to a sticky that says the files are available.
What is there to fix? The plugin requires Inconsequential NPCs as a master file. You know, a plugin that edits another plugin? Otherwise I don't understand what you mean by bug, or fix. Please elaborate,
1. Load up TES5edit and select that plugin 2. Once it's done loading it 3. Right click that plugin and click sort masters 4. Click another plugin 5. You will notice the plugin goes Bold Black 6. CLose the program and it will promt you to select what files to save. Make sure it's selected and press Okay
Thank you SO much for this post!! You helped me "solve" a mystery I've run into with a few mods... the dreaded orange checkmark! LOL I have now fixed both of the ones I was worried about.
Hey, just letting you know, installing the TK patch in your mod broke my main menu, I couldn't even load a save anymore. I did some extensive testing and it was definitely the root cause.
