Friend, just a simple question. Are you a god or something? This house is amazing. The location, the exterior the interior and even the fact that you actually have to do something for it. I don't think i could have wished for a better home in skyrim. One more thing though, that double bed for the housecarl. Why is it an owned bed? And where is the housecarl?

    With high regards,

    Reinyn

Manually turning on every single candle was kinda a pain, but the lighting was lovely once complete. There are some issues. You can not tell from the basement if you have activated the buttons. There is no click, so you could be turning it on and off trying to figure out if you have set it. The follower room needs some work. For some reason one of my followers would not use the double bed so did not get any sleep till the others woke up. That left only two singles. I recommend changing the main follower room with the double bed into a place full of single beds. If the followers are not using the double, then that leaves only room for two followers. Just a suggestion. My other biggest problem is, even though the place has general stores. It did not connect to the individual stations. Like alchemy storage did not connect to the alchemy station, food did not connect to the kitchen. You get the general idea. General stores is a super convenient, but really only useful if say I don't have to run down to the basement get get veggies, go back to the kitchen, then make my soup. Otherwise, i think you did a real lovely job. There was something strange in the basement though. There is a huge section of wood that is completely different color than the rest. Like it was placed recently covering a huge hole or something. It really stands out.

Keep up the good work and maybe I will check out this mod again in the next release.

Yep, I can either get rid of the spawner completely, or maybe add a switch in the basement to disable them. If I do that, the bees may take 2 or 3 days to stop spawning; Not sure of the exact delay. Thanks for the input! There will be an option in the next update. Also look for 2 new esp add-ons for the armor to be separate and craftable, and also a few generic Kamstead Guild members.

EDIT: Added levers in the basement to enable/disable the critter spawns - the bees and dragonflies/fireflies. The bee's nest seems to work after 2-3 in-game days. Dragonfly/Firefly spawners are activators and seem to not work yet. I'll figure it out.

No problem. I'll have a new version in about a week. Turns out I whenI added the bee spawner, I also added the nest, and didn't realize the nest already had a spawning script built it, so you had TWICE the bees, lol! Sorry about this.

EDIT: New version (1.7.2) is up.

I just downloaded your mod, but I am having a problem with it. I have the invisible house, I can see the inside stairs, some doors and what looks to be some planters, but no house. I deactived the first install, and then reinstalled with no change.I downloaded the ESP v1.5 General Stores version. I had two other mods in the general area, that I thought might be causing the problem, deactivated them, with no change in the house. I had.... HF Multiple adoptions mod installed in a previous playthrough, but not in this one, even checked to see if there were any files left over from that mod, just a mention of the mod in TraceLogs. Are their missing meshes/textures that could be causing this? Please HELP, I deactivate Elysium Estate Mod, because I wanted to use your mod.

Forget it! I had to totally delete the files and then, reinstall them again. Before I just deactivated the files. Evidently, not all the files were downloaded by my computer/NMM for some reason. The second time around was the charm (I hope!) . Looks GREAT!!!
You might want to consider (in a future update) the possibility of a Noble Furniture upgrade for the home. Other than than and a wall (farm) I will put around the property it will be "home sweet home", not to mention my Guild Headquaters.

By the way i asked Brudual fron Toutube to make a video of it. I hope for you that he will make one.
    Cheers!

Very nice! Posted a few shots in the photos section.

I'm running CoT with cold interiors but nothing else. Lights all look great, all the switches work. Very clean set-up and no fps drop on my "medium" pc. Love the exterior with all the planting spots and the hawk was a nice touch!

Found the light in the outhouse room! I like the lighting in the basement, took a little while running about but I think I found all the switches. And the auto-sort door! Love. I would love to see access from upstairs though. Or did I miss it? Also, I didn't see any access to specific inventory categories anywhere? In the works maybe? Like, a cooking chest with access to food stuffs and such? That would make the inventory/crafting set-up just about perfect. I am an auto-sort addict. lol (Burt's Breezehome does it best, as far as I've seen, but I don't use home mods much; I usually have followers and kids and there's limited options that don't eat my fps for breakfast.) Oh, and I agree with some of the others, a little more clutter (saw that it's possibly in the works) might be nice but I appreciate that every space isn't already crowded with junk: I'd like to put my own stuff up occasionally.

My only concern is it feel a little dim at night on the main floor. The basement feels kinda cozy the way certain places are lit and others are dark. I'd love to see a couple wall sconces or torches down stairs in the main hall, but that's just me.

Only issues I've had, and they very well could be something on my end: I started having crazy stuttering issues around the lights in the basement as I went around turning them on. Once they were on, things seemed to resolve themselves and there was only the occasional snag here and there. When I was done exploring and playing with the auto-sorter storage, I tried to go back up to the main floor and it ctd'd. I twiddled a few things and then started it back up with the basement half explored, fished turning on lights and such and went up the ladder without an issue. The second time, I had been playing through, maybe an hour after the first ctd, and went down to the basement to drop some things in the storage and when I tried to leave again, ctd. Not sure what's up there. Oh, last thing, the shield racks. Those usually hold two weapons and a shield but these only seem to hold a shield and have no option for the weapons. If that's how you meant it, cool but if not, might want to double check those.

Everything else is perfect. Love the house! I might download unlimited bookshelves so I can decorate a bit. Oh, and endorsed. Very well done! Thanks for adding this to the Nexus.

Thanks for your detailed toughts, they are very much appreciated! I, too am having the occassional CTD when going from the basement back to the upstairs. I am trying to figure out what it is. I am wondering if this could be related to the automatic lighting cycle script upstairs. It may not be optimized for the newest versions of Skyrim. I will remove it and test on my own. it IS frustrating, as I am not a Papyrus Scripter in the least. Thanks again!

I think you might be right about it being linked to the lights. I could be totally wrong here but it seemed like mods with a one switch control for lighting used less scripts....or resources (I have yet to dabble in home creation so forgive my lack of knowledge on terminology - I learning NCPs at the moment). This is just from what I've seen; the more switches there are, it seems the more likely things are to bug out so maybe if some of them were condensed to one switch? Just a thought. Off to try the latest update.

Oh, and no problem. I like DIY so when a mod doesn't work, I try to fix it myself if it's possible and within my means. Testing mods and trouble shooting is quickly becoming a hobby. Besides, I like the house, if I can help get it working smoothly, I will.

Thank you! Sounds good. Yes, I could link all the lights on each level, but thought it would be nice to get different looks by being able to control them individually. I haven't had any problems, but that is just with my PC.

Baaaa! I think I found the problem!
I downloaded your latest update and tested it out and as soon as I tried to leave the house it CTD'd. So, I did some hunting around on the web and discovered that I...am an idiot. LOL Ok, so I'm not, but I think I made a very noob mistake. I hadn't cleaned my main files with TESVEdit. I had no idea I was meant to. I just got done running in and out of the house and basement a few times and, guess what? No CTD. I didn't play for hours and check, but I've had it CTD after only playing for several minutes, and now, no CTD since cleaning the main files.

So, possible fix for the CTD: Clean your Update file and all of your DLC files with TESVEdit. You can find it on the Nexus if you don't have it (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/?) and Gopher does a really awesome, step-by-step tutorial video which is on YouTube. (Here-----> http://youtu.be/fw3g_N1jcZQ. He doesn't cover cleaning Dragonborn but just follow the same steps you used for the first two DLCs.) ***Oh, and I would NOT suggest trying to clean Kamstead yourself! Nart2007 mentions TESVEdit at the bottom of the Description page which implies that it's already been done. You *could* technically break it if you do it again yourself.

Nart, this is probably why you can't reproduce the CTD on your own game, you probably have your files properly cleaned.

Also, noticed less lag/snagging in the basement. Thoroughly enjoying this house! I'll upload some screen shots once I've gotten further with my current game and actually have some stuff in the house. (Unlimited Bookshelves is amazing btw, I can now display some of the cool junk found instead of storing it or selling it and this house is perfect for that right now.)

I hate almost ALL player homes. They're usually too cluttered for my personal taste. If you watch an episode of that Hoarders TV show that's what I'm talking about. Anyway, I really like what you've done here. Of course, it seems many other players are hoarders too, so you may not get many endorsements. I gave you one though. Good job.

Description sounds good and the images show a simple, uncluttered house. I like it! Nothing peeves me more than mod houses that come pre-stocked with wall-to-wall potion, alchemy and junk collections that I have to manually get rid of.

One question before I try it out: how does it look with enb? I don't see many lightsources in the preview pics, so I'm concerned it will look very dark in my game. My interiors are not super dark; even the deepest caves can be navigated with a bit of squinting. As long as I don't need to walk around with a torch in my hands, I think I'll enjoy this house very much.

    Good work, Nart!

It has plenty of lighting, though I don't use ENB. I only use COT (Climates of Tamriel). Not sure how it will look with ENB. Thank You!
I may add an option for more clutter, although I as well, do not like a fully-stocked home right off the bat either, lol.

I'd perhaps suggest a few more storage objects; shelves, chests, bookcases. I like to have my loot on display (except for those things that pile up in their hundreds, like alchemy ingredients), so any surface is very appreciated. Of course, I understand that interior space is limited, but the main entrance area looks rather wide open and empty, compared to the kitchen/dining room, for example. Some potted plants might look nice dotted around there? Again, I'm just going off the preview images, so my apologies if the mod contains these things already!

I can see more book cases, maybe... but where would they go? This house is laid out well and has more than ample storage by itself. Now there's a General Displays version.
There is plenty of garden space outside and there really isn't enough light from windows coming in to support plant life unless you wanted to grow mushrooms or other nocturnal flora.
As for the nice wide open entry way, I like it that way, less clutter to trip over when you walk in the door from a hard days adventuring, fighting dragons, etc. And a kitchen/dining area should be cluttered as it is for making and eating all those beasts you have slain.
Instead of griping over what you can and can't see in the pics, why not try the mod out for a bit. If you don't like it, you can always roll back to an earlier save without the house. So easy.
