    Let me know if the Bromjunaar section works for you guys. I tested it quite a bit but with the collision on the key anything could happen.

    Im late but I just wanna say thank you for creating these simple but essential fixes that improve playing a mage in Skyrim.

    Thanks for the feedback, I had not really planned to change anything else honestly. I was looking into making the master level perks for magics reduce cast speed of that school's spells by 20% or so; at some point I'll get around to researching how to do that because I could not figure it out. But anyway, I'm just glad someone found some use for the mod!

    Mage armor perk does give you more overall armor then vanilla because of the passive +50 per rank, also buffs duration in addition to vanilla. As far as the other changes go I don't use candlelight enough to warrant a change or think stability needed any changes. But I am very happy to hear you just changing things you see to fit your play style.

    With Morokei I didn't tweak anything other then the things I needed too, so the removal of light armor and changed the enchantment. Again check the changelog for more specifics on that stuff, the main page just has some generalizations.

      Thanks for your response. My world is pretty dark (CoT) so I need candlelight! Otherwise I wouldn't find anything in some dungeons. LOL. I like the idea of reducing the master spells if you have the perk. Most mods just cut the master spells cast time down to 2 secs regardless, i.e. 1/3 reduction. Perk dependent is more balanced. I'll have a play around and let you know if I can get it to work. I've only had the CK for 1 day so I'm really just finding my way around it.

    Hi again. I downloaded the CK and made the changes I suggested.
    Stability also decreases spell costs across all schools x 10% if not wearing armor (mod spell cost - multiply value - 0.90 / added armor conditions)
    Candlight now warmer glow (MagicLightLightSpell01 changed R value to 220 and doubled radius to 900) couldn't get the sneak turn off option to work. Need to read up on how to make scripts.
    Changed Morokei to 2 weight, removed the armor rating and checked that the dragon shout cool down was active - which it was already

    Thanks cloudnotnerb. This is exactly what I was looking for. Just a few tweaks to improve magic not a complete overhaul. Thanks and endorsed.

    Some quick questions. With the mage armor perk changes, will the end result be as strong as the vanilla (x3) effect?
    Thanks for changing Morekei to armor free. Did you change the weight down from 4 to 2 to be in line with the wooden mask / hood? (not a big deal, just curious).

    And a request or two if you are planning an update.
    Any chance of changing candlelight to a softer warmer glow that dispels when you sneak? This was in empowered magic mod which was a great tweak.
    Do you think it is worth buffing the stability perk now that mage armor lasts longer anyway. I was thinking of maybe a reduction of spell costs across all schools (10% if not wearing armor?) since magic overall is more stable.
