Often the issue with not being able to gain an animal companion is that the user has had an animal companion before and the counter was never properly reset to 0 for animal companions. Use the console to set animal follower count to 0 and then try - has worked for many I know.
The best friend a nord could have. Terrifies my family though, so I just ask him to wait outside of the house. I have no idea why my children scream and run away from him. Maybe he's so cute it's terrifying?
I'm not sure what went wrong, but I can't seem to speak to the dog. Pressing E does nothing, I tried restarting the game, re-enabling the mod and even re-downloading the mod, switching between the files. I'd love to get some help so I can use it!
It's finally fixed.. It was related to me being stupid and not adding the scripts to the archive.. So yeah, it should work properly now. If you previously downloaded it, just delete the old version from NMM and download the new one.
Well he looks pretty cool.but i find that i just cant talk to him? I dont have any mod related to campanions. i love the dog since i use vampire hunter house,hope that you can make it work.
..Okay, it seems I've done something wrong that makes animal companions not be able to talked to.. But for some reason it works for me. I will look into it, I guess

Uhhh.. When you mouse over and 'use' him, nothing happens.. correct? ..And I uploaded a new version, but shouldn't fix the problem. Was related to a problem with the message that comes up in the top left corner. Might aswell delete the old version and download it and see if that makes a difference.
His name appears, and e to interact.. but he just goes through his various barks and whines. I updated the unofficial patches and started out fresh and have had all kind of issues since then though :/

Ah, well that's good to know it's not the mod; unfortunate for you, and no problem.. Still a little strange that my friend had the same problem. Will talk to her tomorrow.
