Lovely shiny enchanted sword. Perfect. Wait, HOW much damage? This is way too overpowered! Killing enemies in one go is boring! This Vigilant of Stendarr had no chance of touching my level one character with zero perks... Okay, so let's try the unenchanted version? Hang on, where's the texture? It's completely black and has holes in it. That's overpowed, too! Honestly, I can see the appeal of a really powerful weapon, but it just gets old. There needs to be some challenge. An original texture would be lovely, maybe even a model made from scratch if that's within your threshold of modding capabilities? And perhaps a less generic name for a black weapon. I don't know.
I beg to differ that it keeps the same stats. The damage for it is over 300 when I first found it. There were some tough skeletons guarding it no doubt but this sword just obliterates everything. I love the enchantments for it no doubt but it absolutely ruins the game for me. If you could turn down the damage for it and put it on par with the original glass sword then it should be all sweet, but for now, WAY too OP
wouldn't mind a random sword stuck in a stone somewhere.. i mean, why not? every time i start a new game i go to that pond west of whiterun where there is a skeletal hand holding a leveled 1handed sword which makes life a bit easier for me so the idea behind it isn't something lore breaking or standing out, doesn't even need a quest or dungeon for it (tho if you do make either for it i suggest get someone to make a unique model for the sword to justify it)
what you can do is make a guardian for it.. it can be something weird like a monster that for some reason protects it, or it could be an npc that will fight you for the right to "try and take it out of the stone".. or make it even more fun and have no guardians for it but once you take the sword out of the stone an npc will run to you demanding that sword and will fight you for it if you wont agree.
Last picture, blade has all colors of Blizzard's Void Walker Add some smoke animation or something like that, make it more unique Smoke can overtake the entire blade, it will look less like a glass sword that it is
I would love this mod if one, It was a quest to get it and like idk, at the end of a dungeon it was there or you need the sword to kill a special dragon or something. and Two, if it was a one handed weapon that would be so much cooler IMO.. I just dont like two handed weapons, but I'll follow the mod and track its progress because I really like it.

and who cares about overpowered besides realistic suck ups?
(realistically stabbing a human with a sword mostly leads to instant death)

Smoke can overtake the entire blade, it will look less like a glass sword that it is
