Version 1.3 is up. It supports Skyforge Weapons.

Attention, this may be the last update. I wanted to add a few more weapon mods in the "to do" list, but it seems pointless. The reason for this is because most people who played Skyre are playing or will migrate to PerMa (myself included in the future, maybe), so there's no point in keep updating this mod if it is for an outdated mod, so to speak (as PerMa is supposed to be an improved version of Skyre).
Assuming it's needed, it is unlikely I will rework again everything I've done for Skyre into PerMa. If however, it does happen (no promises) I will let you know.

    Farewell.

Just checked in. PerMa is now live yaaaaay. I've not installed it, though. In fact, I haven't touched Skyrim in a while.

To be honest after reading the forums / description / yadda yadda I'm not looking forward to the trip. I do believe PerMA is a great mod, but 10+ minutes for patching the game after installation with the possibility of incompatibilities, crashes and so on? ... And do it again after new mods are installed? ... Even with Mod Organizer I'm kinda scared.

Also, if this means that every single armor / weapon mod will get f*cked up as it happened / happens with Skyre there's NO way on Tamriel I'm reworking my own xml again into it unless is a super-easy-copy-paste stuff (which I sincerely doubt).
I know rauflin is in charge of doing the compatibility stuff and I don't know how he's doing it, but I don't think he has the will or the time to kind of "diversify" weapon / armor mods like I tried to do with this mod for Skyre (I'm not implying my work is better than his! ).

Anyways, I may install the mod at some point in the next year (as always at the end of the year I'm super busy, also Dragon Age Inquisition is around the corner, all my free time is gonna end there), but again there's little chance I'm going to rework or make new tweaks for PerMa as I did for Skyre, assuming it's needed.

Just feeling like droping this out ^^

    C-ya.

Version 1.2 is now live. Covers Ghosu's Weapon Pack and also comes with an extra: Complete support for Noldor Content Pack, released not so long ago.
As expected Maty743's mod became very popular very quickly so I figured doing the tweaks to make the mod work with Skyre would be a good idea. No more 8 damage arrows and stuff!

I'm not quite playing Skyrim anymore (I took a break), instead started New Vegas again. But I still come to the nexus from time to time to check stuff up and see what new interesting weapon / armor mods we have.
Also, I will still be working on tweaks, just won't be playing the game. Skyforge Weapons are still on my sights.

Also. Uploaded some images. Not really necessary, but I just feel like doing it ^^

Just wanted to pop over and give a heads up. I haven't forgotten you. I have been super busy with my job and family life, and countless updates.

There is currently no way to allow some of the IA7 shields to be adjusted via the stats.xml do to the limitations on the ReProccer engine. A post patch had to be used to force heavy materials into light shields, and light materials into heavy shields, as per IA7 design. In order to facilitate your custom changes to those particular items, you will have to manually edit w/e post patch you are using. If say you wanted to do it for all variations, you would have to edit all 24 post patches to fit your custom tweaking.

This is the only course of action that I am aware of. After trying multiple workarounds, and bouncing ideas off of multiple minds, the verdict was: Without redesigning the ReProccer engine, (which would take several months) we have reached it's limitations.

Thanks for commenting. Yes I understand, often times we're very busy and have little or none time to spend.

Reproccer has its limitations too and unfortunately modders don't usually make mods having Skyre in mind.

Sup guys, V1.1 is out. It adds support for Lore Weapons Expansion. Some items were fine, but others had to be buffed/nerfed. Also, since this weapon pack adds longswords and Reproccer will patch everything into broadswords I added a few lines more to mantain longswords into longswords.
I don't think I covered 100% of the mod since there're some items you can't craft and you've to find by yourself, so I may have missed some.
I also added a few tweaks for the arrows and bolts. Basically tweaking their speed so they fly faster. Not a big change, though.

The next update will be for Ghosu's Weapon Pack, and then I will probably check Skyforge Weapons as requested before.

Thanks so much for this file!

I discovered it from Xathra/raulfin's patches - the installer said the 'custom stats.xml from xxSSTHxx' was more realistic, so I tried it.Now I have come to your page and downloaded the latest version, which seems to have new entries compared to the current one in Xathra's patch.

It is great to see how many items are covered. And I just noticed you have Elemental Arrows included as well? That is awesome - I saw that mod a week ago and really wanted to try it, but did not think it would be compatible with SkyRe/ReProccer. Now I see it is included in your stats.xml I am definitely going to try it out.

Thanks again for all your hard work on this and for keeping it updated. Endorsed and tracked!

You're welcome. Glad you've found it useful.

The reason why I stop sending updates to Xathra was because he was kind of busy and I didn't want to bother him.
I thought he would contact me when he had the time. I haven't checked his mod for a while, not sure if he had time now or if he's willing to accept updates.
He could come here and download the latest version and add it to he's page if he wanted to. We already talked about permissions, he knows I'm using his file as a base the same way as I know mine is in his page.

Just wanted to chime in and say thanks for this file. Since I simply won't play the game without SkyRe I find this set of stats invaluable (when combined with Xathra's patches). If you're really ambitious, perhaps you could be persuaded to look at Skyforge Weapons or Skyforge Shields

      Thanks for the comment

About Skyforge shields, if I'm not mistaken, those are already included (or part of them) in the latest IA update, I already covered them in there. As for Skyforge weapons, I will be taking a look at it when I had the time, I'm always looking for new cool weapon mods.

Finally V1.0 is out. Covered pretty much all 2h weapons. This means that everything (kinda) in IA and IW is covered. Is pretty much all I wanted to cover in the first place. So that's it, I'm out...

Totally kidding, lol. I will still be here tweaking this and that and watching for new armor and weapon mods ^^
There's still the new IW shields problem, wich is an "issue" related to the new post .esp created by xathra as he told me. A problem related to the way reproccer works with the materials. So I'm leaving these until they can be tweaked.

I may have planing do a small release for arrows again, this time to modify speed values because they suck to be completely honest.
After that I wanted to move and see if I can do something for the Insanity Sorrow's weapons pack if needed (I just installed it), I'll probably complete unninstall IW to have my inventory more organized, being using that mod since day one.

Also, I have organized a bit the description section adding a ReadMe and a misc file for all the info regarding the tweaking.
Still no custom bars to separate the text neither custom tittles because I'm not that good in photoshop, also I'm lazy, lol

    So cheers.
Any suggestions / whatever, be my guest.

      Bug with: IA 6

Same values (heavy version armor rating) for heavy and light version of all the items in the set

      ArmorWarchief... (Warchief ...)

Would fix it myself but don't know how. It would be interesting (just for learning reaons) if You past the fix here (which I hope and bet for You might make).

@micjocskyrim Let's see. For IA 6 you should be using the old Balbor and Steelsouls patches. The information regarding both heavy and light version of that armor are present and work fine. The problem occurs in IA7 Since you may have only one option (heavy OR light) for some armor sets, this is chosen through MCM menu. Thus, if you change that armor to light (default is heavy) you will not notice changes or the changes would be wrong. I already tested this with other armors aswell and I think this happens because it's an in-game change in "real time". I can't do anything about it.

Here's an example, these are the exact same values in the current .xml As you can see there's a difference between light and heavy, but the game won't recognize it thanks to the new MCM system.

      <armor_material>
      <iArmor>36</iArmor>
      <sMaterialName>Warchief Light</sMaterialName>
      </armor_material>
      <armor_material>
      <iArmor>45</iArmor>
      <sMaterialName>Warchief</sMaterialName>
      </armor_material>

The <iArmor>XX</iArmor> is the value we're interested in.

Okay. V0.9 is out. Covers pretty much all the new armor in IA7. Does not cover shields though, just a few.
Also run into some trouble with those new shields, that's why I couldn't actually add them to this version.

Also, I tried out Elemental Arrows mod, I liked it and add the new arrows to the list, so all except for the elemental effects works fine.
The elemental effects of the arrows works, the problem is that the elemental damage is kind of low for skyre, I mean, reproccer does not patch spells and effects, so certainly they feel kinda weak. And since I only work in the xml file, I can't tweak spells / elemental effects

Hopefully I can do something with the shields for verison 1.0, and will probably be tweaking some 2 handed weapons, I did just a bit of tweaking in the past on some.

Thanks for the update. Was wondering about Elemental arrows, I don't "have" to install that do I ? Because I am not much interested in that mod. Everything should work fine with out it, correct ?

Indeed, it wont affect your game at all. you can play with no problems without that mod.
The new mods I add to the list are not mandatory. The main is and will always be only Skyre.

      Hello,
on xathra's patch page there is a stats.xml posted by electricdoor (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1254846-skyre-compatibility-patches/page-152#entry1279520 which is among other things accounting for the light/heavy armor choices added in IA7.1.
Will you add something like that as well?

@cleaner If you are asking me if I'm planning to do light /heavy variants of the new armors introduced, no I don't. I want to keep some things as they are for the sake of diversity.
And yes, I know that there are some armors that already have that option in IA7 through MCM menu, but if the mod author decided that some specific armor is limited to light or heavy I want to keep it that way.
My work focuses mainly in diversify AR and Damages instead of making variants or changing things into different categories.

To be honest I'm not exactly sure how the whole Light/Heavy Armor differentiation works. I thought it would be necessary to do all that.

New verison is up (v0.8 ). Contains some changes, nothing yet on the new IA version so no new armors covered in this release. I'm confident that the next one will be pretty much for the new armors added in IA7.

But the major change is that it's supposed to work with xathra's patches. I took his .xml and added on it all the lines and changes I already had in my other files. Was kind of a copy-paste half of the time, but still tedious and took me a few days.
We were talking, and he may agree in using my tweaks for his own .xml and include them in future releases. Nothing 100% confirmed though.

EDIT: Alright, If everything goes as intended, you should be able to download my file from Xathra's page as a custom .xml.
This means, the version there will be the same version I have here. I'll update him with new releases as soon as I have one. So both files -his custom and my own file here- should be the same.

Also, Im currently taking a look at the armor added in IA7 I will soon start to work on them and apply the proper tweaks / fixes.
