Could you make a dlc standalone version of this bow ? By that i mean a version which can work without having dragonborn ^^ cuz i love this bow but i haven't db dlc and i didn't find any mod that can add this bow into the game :/ Plus this version is way better than the original *^* So pleaaase help me out with this
Unfortunately i'm not modding any more. The easiest way for you to use the model would be to replace an existing bow. I would take the nordhero bow, it has different stats but since you don't have dragonborn you are breaking the lore anyways.
install the replacer file. the default folderstructure looks like this:
meshes\dlc02\weapons\nordic\nordicbow.nif textures\weapons\scoped bows\nordic\...(here are the textures- don't touch them! )
rename the "nordicbow.nif" to "nordherobow.nif", then paste it into the nordhero weapons folder:
meshes\weapons\nordhero\nordherobow.nif -create folders if they don't exist.(the "meshes" and "textures" folders are inside the "data" folder)
Nope, those are just recommendations. The line below Actor (fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist) increases the distance arrows fly, which allows you to hit targets from longer distances, rather than arrows passing through them without causing any damage.
The first two lines below Combat (fMagnetism) remove the aim assist. If you miss slightly with an arrow, the game will automatically make them hit anyway. This stops that, so it basically makes it a little harder (most noticeable at long range).
The last two lines below Combat (ArrowTiltUpAngle) make the dot or crosshair the centre (rather than being slightly above it), so your arrows will go where you actually aim.
Out of all your scoped bows, this one looks the best to me. Is it possible though to edit the crosshair packs so that the normal crosshair also changes colour? I tried to change it myself but I can't get glow to work...
EDIT: never mind, got it to work. Never realised you had to edit the nif files to get glow to work. This handy tutorial helps if anyone else wants to do it: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/How_to_add_glow_maps Although you need to edit some other properties too in NifSkope (just make everything in the BSLightingShaderProperty for the normal crosshair the same as the BSLightingShaderProperty of the sneak crosshair).
This is a shortbow after patching with reproccer. I don't use skyre myself i can't tell what the range difference is... If you decide to download the full pack there is a skyre patch available for it with a craftable long and shortbow version of each bow.
Thanks for endorsing! Yes, the optional colored reticle files only change the color of the little front crosshair which lines up with the lens when crouching/sneaking.
Finally I found. This is RaceMenu skeleton Sliders for XPMS when I deliver the body by default it works. (just don't change: spine 0, spine 1,spine 2, hand.) I do not think it would alter the view to the first person.
But I like the body of my character I am very disappointed.
And last question why don't you make a pack with all your bow ?
I like and use all of your mods, since I mostly play as a heavy armored archer. Have you considered making versions of your bow mods, that replace the vanilla ones? I play without the cross hair to enhance the difficulty in my game and it would be really nice to reduce the esps to.
As soon as i have updated all my bows i am going to work on a merged pack . Currently there are only 2 updates left: Hunting and imperial. That means Yes! When i release the pack i will also upload a replacer file.
I wanted to point out that one can get a good result with "Immersive First Person View by meh321". I added a picture to illustrate and left the crossair to check alignment. This requires a bit of work but I believe it is possible to obtain excellent results.
good game!
PS: is it possible to reduce reflections on the lens? "see pictures"

by the way good model, looks like a very compact 'stealth bow',
for an assassin/thief

Also what's the range difference on the 2 bow?
For the colored reticles, do they only work in the crouched position?
Thanks for a great mod! Endorsed.
