    INFORMATION

There are a couple minor issues when your NPC is working around this home. They may carry the flower basket to bed with them or use it at the alchemy station or cooking station. Most of the time the basket carrying idle ends properly so I left it in the mod.
I absolutely cannot stand feet disappearing into the ground when an NPC is doing a chore or crafting. I am pretty sure I have adjusted the idle markers so that all of the idles in this mod show their feet. If you see something that I missed let me know.
I removed the Havoc on a bunch of stuff so you will have to pick it up to remove it. I had issues with insects flying through stuff knocking it over so I hopefully fixed that.

NOTE: I have never made any type of player home or done much with the CK at all until this mod. Please feel free to critique my work and give me pointers! I tried my best to keep it simple but give it personality without getting over the top. I will not add crafting racks, forges and other stuff so that this place becomes small town. I just wanted to cater to a person that likes alchemy and magic.

Edit: I created the bed so that both the player and the NPC can sleep in it at the same time. Unfortunately there are no animations to go along with it but the effect are the same. I also tried to add all the resources needed to sustain life. Water trough for rainwater, more food items and storage.

UPDATE Edit: The Updated versions of this mod turn all barrels, satchels, the nightstand and food sack into SAFE player storage. Basically if it is a container you can safely store items in it! I removed havoc from the gold coins on both versions and the skull on the shelf in the Dragonborn version. I aligned the wall mounted shield and chest with the bed on the Dragonborn version (they were off to the side slightly).

Known conflicts: "Interesting NPCs" will cause a CTD with this mod in use.

I wonder if i can harvest plants and other ingredients around the shack. I mean will they respawn after some time?
And what about interior? For example, i want to bring my stuff and decorate the shack by myself. Will it reset after some time?
I think i'll check that someday but your replies are most welcome!

The shack itself looks wonderful. I like that creator didn't go over the top with the decoration and especially crafting stations (i know this is convenient to have but this feels wrong and somewhat litters the space). I like the idea of going to nearest city for crafting, making plans about what will i do. You just don't get too attached to one place and you don't bring tons of junk here, because you don't have over 9000 chests anymore, so you learn to appreciate what you already have and make smart choices about what items you really need. Thanks for that btw, in most cases these storage places with lots of chests and barrels looks tasteless and even vulgar. In conslusion: it is still a shack, but pretty and cozy. You can cook, you can sleep, you can make potions and chill near the fireplace. Perfect home for my alchemist. I wish it was in Falkreath region though.

Do the plants, mushrooms and birds nest around the shack respawn?

As lovely as this mod is, and I have used it for years now, there seems to be a bug that has only recently appeared. The two panels of the roof right by the entrance detach themselves from the shack and come off. Is this a known problem?

Hey, just installed the mod and had the same glitch. That first panel of the roof came down on my PC's head as soon as I walked in. It was stuck in the middle of the house, almost like a wall, when I left. I'm reinstalling the mod to see if that helps.

Was there a solution found to this? I just started an alchemist and wanted to make this home base, but with the giant panel glitching in the middle of the room knocking everything over, it's... not too enjoyable.

I really like what you've done to the shack. Thank-you for sharing your work to the community... hope to see more.

No matter the character, no matter the playthrough... I always stop at the Alchemist's Shack on my way into the Rift. Thanks for making it into such a cute little home! It'll make a nice getaway when my alchemist char. isn't tinkering around at Elisdriel.

    @FalmerBane

I've been using this since you made it, and just wanted to let you know that I've been playing it along with Interesting NPCs in a few different games; it works great, and is actually hilarious.

There's an iNPC in the house, and it leads to a surprising exchange. Try it out! (Using update-before-last; haven't got the most recent update yet).

I am wondering if you might be interested in doing something like this, but in another remote location but set up for more of a thief/assassin character? I have been looking around for ages, trying to find SOMETHING that isn't over the top offering everything you can think of, or isn't decored to the brim, for my assassin. Most places I found, end up looking more for a hunter/nature lover with all these animal heads hanging and plant life... while weeds are okay and I doubt some thief is going to give two sents about weeds.

I'd like to find something more like, an abandoned shack that a thief dragged in a few needed things and set up 'home' in. A few chests, some lock box's, a chair, bed mat, maybe a grinding wheel to keep ones blades sharp and a small cooking pot. A bird or such to harvest from (thives need to eat to) but thats the end of it.

Not a hard concept but no ones really -done- such, most want something huge and fancy with as much detail as one can fit into it...

Makes me wish the creation kit would behave and stop getting struck in 'rotate' mode.
