Hi! Do you think you could remake this for Skyrim Special Edition? It would be great to be able to install it on the current game platform.

I tried to Port this mod to Skyrim Special Edition and everything works perfectly with 2 exceptions. The Elf Oreyn is in blackface and the texture for the Helmet is the color of Snow when in 3rd person.

So for some reason everything is duplicated for me, There is two of every letter, two Oreyns, two helmets (one helmet has stamina spelled with capital S and the other with a smaller case s). Furthermore, thans for the mod, it looks awesome and I like that someone is bringing old artifacts into skyrim!

Interesting. I love your work, PrivateEye! This will make for a fine reward after clearing Valaskir Necropolis in my upcoming mod, Vortex of Time.

Ok, not sure what I screwed up, but this mod won't work for me.

I install the mod, and find the letters and go to the location mentioned. After searching every square inch of it and not finding the helm or Bearclaw, I delete and reinstall it, thinking it was a bad install.

Still nothing. So I watch the videos on the front page to see if the actual location is provided, and I find that I had completely missed the location the helm is in (apparently I need to look up more often). So I go to the location, but no helm or Bearclaw. I exit out and delete and reinstall the mod and reload and check again, but the helm still isn't there.

Not sure what I did to break it, but this mod refuses to work for me.

Could it be you have another mod that changes the same area?

Try deinstalling the mod, entering your game, saving the game (now without the mod active), reinstalling the mod, and trying again.
Sorry if you tried this already, but from the description you gave it sounds like you didn't do the clean save (without mod installed).

No, no other mod I have changes that area, but I eventually got it to work after deleting it through NMM, and then going into the Skyrim folder and searching and finding a zip file for the mod that NMM didn't get rid of. After deleting that and redownloading and installing the mod, it worked just fine.

Hey PrivateEye. Still awaiting word on your next artifact mod that you had said would be coming out soon. Any news on it? I am very excited at what it could possibly be!

I was hoping to have that mod done by now but it's all taking a lot more time then I thought.
Actually, I might as well spill the beans right now:p

I'm working on the Brush of True Paint. It will work like a staff that can summon Painted Trolls.
The problem is that summoned creatures disapear on death and can't be looted. I'd like to make the Trolls lootable though so the player can aquire Painted Troll Fat. Still looking for a work around.
The whole thing would probably be very easy to do but these days I'm lucky if I even get to spent half an hour a day on modding.
Time (or lack of it) is the main thing that keeps me from finishing this thing up and releasing it.
Ah well.. waiting for quieter times

Doing what people expect is no fun^^ I like to stay away from the too obvious artifacts:p For example I'll never do an Umbra or Goldbrand mod..

That's cool. Umbra technically doesn't exist anymore anyways, and Insanity already has a Goldbrand out there. I'm particularly looking forward to more armor oriented artifacts from Morrowind. You have done an awesome job with bringing back a lot of Morrowind's weapon artifacts back into the picture. My absolute favorite piece of armor in Elder Scroll's history is Eleidon's Ward. My Favorite weapon is Trueflame( unfortunately, I wouldn't find it very lore friendly to have it since the Nerevar is probably not dead and would still probably have all the artifacts that are directly related to him, but that is what MGSO for Morrowind is for =D ). The Fists of Randagulf are another favorite of mine, and would fit really well with Skyrim since Randagulf was a mighty Nord warrior from Skyrim. Hahaha, sorry, just getting on the subject of Morrowind spirals me out of control with stuff to do with that game hahaha.
